Apple iPhone XS Max 256GB Space Grey/Sliver/Gold $1879.20 Delivered @ Ausluck eBay

170
PEARTREE

Just saw the Ausluck Ebay will have iPhone XS Max and iPhone XS (256GB and 512GB) in tomorrow's eBay promotion. Thanks to @Charcoal for the search link and @tightarse for sharing the eBay promotion.

Compare with the price on the Apple official site, the price is lower by $170. If you are travelling around and do the TRS, the price of iPhone XS Max 256GB could down to around $1700. It's quite a nice deal!

There are around 10 available in each colour, and they are running very fast, think would be sold out by early afternoon.

    Asking Price: $2,349
    RRP $2,049.

    Jacked up pricing from Ausluck

    • Not really surprising, I guess.

I used to admire iPhone but now $2000 phone. No thanks

Totally agree, back then iPhone don't have much rival and paying $1k for iPhone is justified.
But now lots of competitors caught up to Apple, and I cannot justify paying $2k for something that not very stand out.

  • …and their normal website sells it at $2048

Would love to hear their reason for 'price jacking' on eBay.

I like how they pick a wallpaper in their XS promo shots that strategically and completely hides the notch. You would never know it even has one from looking at the pics.

  • Price jacking to the max however, it's only $80 more than the RRP 64GB model at $1799 so the extra $80 for 4x the storage is a good deal.

Do ausluck sell grey imports or aussie stock?

EDIT: From their website "100% AUSTRALIAN STOCKS FREE DELIVERY GST TAX INVOICE"

    • I recently bought a samsung galaxy s9+ from them, it turned out to be legit 100% AU stock. I called Samsung AU and checked the IEMI number and they also confirmed the same.

Long time (8 years) iPhone user, first time move to android phone (note 9). I am more than happy about my move and I am surprised how responsive the android os is nowadays. Apple's pricing is crazy for what they offer.

  • Has anyone tried to price match officeworks for these phones, since they now do pricematch for grey imports?

    Ouch, how many kidneys?

  • Are these actually unlocked as specified?

Red a few comments and reviews that contracted/locked phones have been received

Although the price after the '20%' discount is cheaper than RRP, the actual discount is only 8.3%. Very dodgy behaviour as usual by Ausluck.

    • This is what i have been saying all along. If all one can offer is 8% discount from rrp then so be it.

Because all this price jacking above rrp so they can offer bigger percentage off can only benefit the shops and not the consumer.

  • I am wondering why eBay and Paypal still allow these sellers to do price jack. Isn't Paypal subsidising the discount?

  • Better dealmos to get the 10 per cent off David Jones gift cards and pay the full report with the vouchers. Much more pleasant experience and you can have it gift wrapped for Xmas too.

    • or go to Woolworths and get the MYER gift cards in this weeks catalog that give you 10% bonus value.

      $1,844.10 after discount

  • even though they price jacked isn't it still a good price?

    • One way to look at it. The other is if they were operating with integrity it should be $1638.
