Just went to JB Hi-fi to take advantage of the GoPro deal and came across this and just had a free JB Hi-fi $10 voucher emailed to me valid to 31 Jan 19.

To redeem you must:

  1. Purchase something from JB hi-fi
  2. Request for a digital receipt to be text to you. follow the link which will direct you to a page with instructions.
  3. Link to an existing or new JB hi-fi online account
  4. Voucher will be emailed to you in a few minutes later.

This may work on an existing in-store purchase — login to your account and browse through your past digital receipts and look for the offer.


Q. How do I get a digital receipt for an in-store purchase?

A. It's easy. When making a purchase at a JB Hi-Fi store, staff at checkout will ask you if you want to receive a digital receipt in addition to your paper one. Just tell them your mobile number and we'll text you a link to download or save a digital copy of your receipt. Internet access is required to download your digital receipt. You must give your mobile number at time of purchase if you want a digital receipt.

Q How do I save an in-store receipt to my JB Hi-Fi online account?

Provide your mobile number in-store when you purchase to get a text message from us with a link to your receipt.
Click on the link in the text message.
From the 3 options, select 'Save to a JB Hi-Fi account'.
Follow the prompts to login to your JB Hi-Fi account (or you can select 'create an account' if you don't currently have an online JB Hi-Fi account).
Your receipt will be saved to your online JB Hi-Fi account and you will be able to view or email a copy of the receipt at any time from within your account.

  • I was able to buy a $10 voucher using an existing voucher and received another $10 voucher. Useful as I forgot to request the digital receipt when buying a game earlier.

    I can’t believe this is still working
    Received my third $10 voucher today, for a receipt for a price matched pdp Xbox controller $29 down to $19 with my second $10 voucher.

    Will try getting something else with that 3rd voucher and seeing if it rewards me with a 4th!

      How do you get this for an old receipt? Today I bought few cables and the the stupid lady in the counter never sent me a reciept. When I lodged a conplained they sent via my email.

      • I’ve been pretty insistent about asking for it multiple times, they won’t do it automatically.

        Not sure how to do it from an old one, some of the earlier comments seem to have some ideas

    • Did you use the same account for all of them or did you have to make multiple accounts? The receipt says it's one coupon per customer so I'm wondering if it's possible to get multiple coupons when adding the receipts to the same account.

  • Picked up a joy-con (right) for $32!!!
    Tried to price match EB Games price of $36, was told that the price was below cost and therefore they could not price match. Tried a different JB and they couldn't match $36 but they could do $42. So I bought that with $10 off for a total of $32.
    Got another voucher and did it again..the store is now out of stock as they only had 2.

  • Hmm I opened a receipt from April, saw the offer, added receipt to my JB Hi-fi account, can see the receipt in there now… But still no $10 voucher, half a day later.

    I registered using [email protected], is it possible they allowed me to register but not allowing + for sending vouchers?

    • contact their help desk, same thing happ to me and they emailed the voucher code through in 3-4 days after checking with their marketing department

    Made a purchase yesterday, asked for a digital receipt.
    Clicked on linked, clicked 'save to account', received and confirmed SMS code.
    Saved it to my jb hifi account online.

    No voucher still (checked spam folder). (more than 30mins)

    Tried to a link to the digital receipt - says it is already saved to an account.

    I bought something at JB yesterday and did the thing. No voucher in email? I've emailed their support asking for help on this.

      • I contacted their support on the same day and no answer. Sent email via their online support form.
        Is there an email address to send messages directly?

    I can confirm that the promotion has ended via the support person from email. They were kind enough to give me a voucher but I think it's probably over everybody.
