Just went to JB Hi-fi to take advantage of the GoPro deal and came across this and just had a free JB Hi-fi $10 voucher emailed to me valid to 31 Jan 19.

To redeem you must:

  1. Purchase something from JB hi-fi
  2. Request for a digital receipt to be text to you. follow the link which will direct you to a page with instructions.
  3. Link to an existing or new JB hi-fi online account
  4. Voucher will be emailed to you in a few minutes later.

This may work on an existing in-store purchase — login to your account and browse through your past digital receipts and look for the offer.

Q. How do I get a digital receipt for an in-store purchase?

A. It's easy. When making a purchase at a JB Hi-Fi store, staff at checkout will ask you if you want to receive a digital receipt in addition to your paper one. Just tell them your mobile number and we'll text you a link to download or save a digital copy of your receipt. Internet access is required to download your digital receipt. You must give your mobile number at time of purchase if you want a digital receipt.

Q How do I save an in-store receipt to my JB Hi-Fi online account?

Provide your mobile number in-store when you purchase to get a text message from us with a link to your receipt.
Click on the link in the text message.
From the 3 options, select 'Save to a JB Hi-Fi account'.
Follow the prompts to login to your JB Hi-Fi account (or you can select 'create an account' if you don't currently have an online JB Hi-Fi account).
Your receipt will be saved to your online JB Hi-Fi account and you will be able to view or email a copy of the receipt at any time from within your account.

Terms of the Coupon

Coupon redeemable until 31/1/2019. Maximum $10 discount is calculated off the current ticket price.

    Im confused i mostly pre order stuff into store and pay there and im given a paper receipt which i did only just over a week ago or so where lady asked if i wanted digital copy i said im ok.
    So as i have or get mostly paper copies what then?
    I looked on my online account as i had ordered a jb hifi gift card and last month and does show things from orders previous months but when i click on show receipt i get none.
    Im just wondering i take advantage of this deal.

      You need to request an SMS reciept from an in-store purchase, then follow th link in the sms reciept to link it to your website account. Purchases with only paper recipets, or online purchases, don't seem to count.

      I don't see why not. The T&C says it can't stack with coupons (which is what this is) but says nothing about using it with gift cards.

          Any JB receipts may be linked to your account.
          Just make sure you get them to enter your mobile.
          You need mobile SMS for verification.

    I'm looking at my in store receipt from 2 weeks ago, and don't see any option to have this receipt texted to me…do I need to drive out to the store with this old receipt and ask them to sms it to me?

      You needed to have said YES at the time of purchase when they asked you at the counter if you wanted the receipt sent to your phone. If you didn't do this you can't get it.

      It might work with a new purchase if you say YES.

    Not sure if it can help you guys who haven't got it. I didn't get the email with voucher yesterday. I emailed JB and give the details of my purchase and got the voucher this morning.

    I found a paper receipt. You can request the paper receipt to be sent as a digital receipt via their website.

    A. If you have your paper receipt, we just need a few details from it to verify you are the owner of that receipt. Contact us to submit a receipt enquiry and we'll resend the text message to the mobile number provided in-store at the time of purchase."

    So I bought my $49 minecraft pig xbox wireless controller yesterday, and got my $10 voucher
    On the recommendation of the manager, he said come back today, return what I bought yesterday then rebuy it with the voucher, making it $39

    So I returned it today, and he said better get a new digital receipt as the old one won't be valid for this purchase
    Got a new one

    Then linked it to a new JB account that I made

    Another $10 voucher arrived!

    This is the gift that keeps on giving - unclear if I had linked it to my first account, if the voucher would still have come…

    Surprisingly their online customer service is pretty crap! Bought 2 items, a tab and a car charger, shipped me only the tab, and then when I asked them to refund for the car charger, they gave me a script response “apologies for the delay, I can see you have received now!” What the crocodile is that!?! Even the receipt came with it didn’t have the charger listed on it!

    I might have to dispute with PayPal now just over a car charger! Never buying from them again!
