    The hosting is free, a domain is not part of website hosting. It is normal to pay for a domain name separately to a website hosting package.

    If you do not want a domain you should be able to make your account by typing in a fake domain name.
    You would then access your site using an address which would look something like http://server1.jumpline.com/username.
    This would mean that you could not use email from the hosting plan but would be fine if you only wanted to use the hosting plan to backup your files to.

    so its not completly free….

    That is the same as saying a freebie listed here is not free because you need to buy a computer, use electricity and pay for internet to get the freebie.
