              I got two, I wouldn't pay more than $25 ea for them.

              • @Jimothy Wongingtons: Why were these Xiaomi smart bulbs so much cheaper and always on discount im 2017 but not since? Were they just trying to establish themselves here?

                  @festivalmayhem:

                  1. Establish market dominance, once you have 1 product that works well, you're much more likely to go back and buy more in their range. This lamp is an ozbargain fav - your other choices until recently was either going to be phillips or lifx, both by comparison are eye wateringly expensive to consider rolling out through a whole house and not a whole lot more advanced. Kmart has a local option now for RGB starting from $29 which uses the Tuya APP and supports alexa/ g-assistant. For the $4 more it might be worth it to support a b&m store and avoid warranty issues.

                  1b. Relating to point 1. Do a search for xiaomi privacy. A lot of people are convinced xiaomi spys on you - data is sent back to servers in CN and these lamps actively listen to voice (to support the function of changing colour to the music). If this is the case, wouldn't it be a no-brainer for them/ CN government to get it into as many homes as possible?

                  2( Around 2017 there was a move to enforce environmental levy/fines to Chinese manufacturers. Having to dispose of waste properly (which I'm sooooooo sure they do), and other factors like raw material cost increase meant overall goods need to be sold at a higher margin.

  • The DWK2H588C9N6 discount code has already been used

    • Hi Mate,the coupon still working.

  • Hi any chance you guys can do a rechargeable Yeelight night light deal?

  • I am going to assume this discount code has expired?

  • Code is not working

  • Correct me if i am wrong, but there are 2 versions of this bulb, 110V for US and 220V for everyone else. So why do the specs say 100V-240V. That can't be correct
