Instructions
1. Sign up to the free Scribd 30 day trial subscription
2. Sign up to the free Blinkist, Pocket, MUBI, Audm, and FarFaria subscriptions via Scribd. Requires signing into Scribd.
3. Optional: Cancel your Scribd trial subscription straight away to avoid charges after 30 days. You'll still be able to access it for that period, and this won't affect the subscriptions to the other services.
4. Enjoy!

Notes
I don't know what the free subscription periods for Audm and FarFaria are, as I didn't sign up to them. Let me know if you do, and I'll update the post. Edit: Updated FarFaria to 6 months.

I didn't tag this as a 'Freebie', as charges will be incurred should one not cancel their Scribd trial subscription, i.e. there are "strings attached". Edit: I’ve, now, tagged this post as 'Freebie', as it may be a long running deal. Please, report to the Mods should the deal change or expire.

Apps, except Audm (iOS only), for the above services are available for iOS and Android.

This is awesome OP, thanks! Mostly interested in Blinkist. Have seen so many ads for it but never pulled the trigger - 6 months to try for free will be perfect!

    • Blinkist works well for me as a filter, but not so much as an actual library.

  • I already had Scribd trial membership active and MUBI account from a while ago thanks to PS3.
I logged into Scribd and could see member offers and redeemed MUBI voucher using existing MUBI account.

    Good deal.

  • won’t let me apply coupon to Blinkist as I already have an active subscription :(

    • I went to subscribe and I found out I have Blinkist Premium active till July 2019 and I don't even know how.

Don't have a single email related other than confirm your email one.

Looked up deals on Ozbargain about Blinkist Premium and there was no yearly give away or anything. My password manager tells me I have created an account on April 2018 and I remember installing the app but I have no records of going premium. Not sure if I should email them and ask in case I wake up the sleeping dog.

Why would you email them when this won't give you Blinkist free after June anyway?

        • Yeah nah, I'm curious that's all

  • +1

this is fantastic i will be using scribd and blinkist 1month and 6months thank you OP

  • +10

The offers are also available if you use the 2 month trail from the referral link.

    • thanks signed my partner up using referrer Link with 2 months

      • If you signup additional subscription using your referral, how many months extra do you get?

  • +13

    thanks OP!

FYI, there will be offer additional one month free if you try to cancel scribd with the expensive reason.
can be cancelled straight away after it's added.

What an amazing post this is. So detailed like a pro. Thanks OP.

    6 months Farfaria

And Scribd itself is not too bad with a solid (but not outstanding) selection of ebooks, audiobooks, sheet music and magazines.

As others have said above, make sure you use the Random referral link above to get two months free!

  • So pocket is just like ever note without the free account

    • +1

I've been using Pocket for free for years. Not sure what premium gets you. No ads??

To me, Evernote is like Google Keep. Pocket used to be called "Read It Later" so I use it more to bookmark articles and videos I want to check out later.

      • Pocket premium gets you no ads (not a big deal), a permanent copy of what you save (okay if you don't evernote/onenote things), smart tags (bleh) and not-shitty searching.

  • Amazing post OP!

  • You're a pro, OP
Signed up for the above and added straight to both phones and Tablet
Commuting in 2019 just got better

    • If only there was a convient mechanism for providing feedback to the community…

      • you may want to check the Votes page before trying to sound smart

        • It shows you revoked?

          • @Hargain Bunter: yes, I had doubts about Scribd as a company, once revoked I cannot set it back to + vote

  • Superb post OP.
    Farfaria is 6 months btw.

  • I signed up for Audm but have no idea how long the trial subscription is. Everything is done via the app, and the app tells you absolutely nothing. Bizarre.

  • Expired? Can't sign up now - 'This voucher code is no longer valid' :(
-> nevermind. Make sure you follow the steps.

  • I'm already paying for scribd subscription, it's a great service and well worth the money

    • What else does it give you other then the above trials

  • Great post OP. I had been contemplating signing up to MUBI for 12 months so you just saved me $70 odd dollars.

I already have a MUBI account but simply followed your instructions and it worked perfectly. Well done.

  • I was not able to find Audm on the Play store last month and I still can't. Am I doing something wrong? Was able to get to installed on iOS, I have a paid subscription with them.

    • The app badge for Android on the side has a ribbon on it saying "coming soon"

      • Right, so no Audm for android. Shame those targets are all out of ipads now

  • I'm confused where do you enter the promo code from Scribd into blinkist?

    • I just clicked on the apply promotional code button after going through the above link.

  • Awesome! Thanks OP!

  • thanks! i won't use all these things but i'll definitely use the pocket upgrade

  • Top post - free year of MUBI?

    Yes please.

I was canelling the Scribd trial, giving the reason its too expensive. They offered to extend the trial to 2 months.

    • +1

Yes I was doing the same and got an extra month. I set a reminder on my phone to remember to cancel before I get charged.

      • After I received the extra month, I still cancelled. Trial expires March regardless.

  • This is awesome, thanks OP!

  • I've now referred 3 friends to Sribd, but I haven't had my subscription extended. Is there anything I'm supposed to do to make that work?

Just confirming my Sribd account acknowledges I've referred 3 friends

    • I've had one referral from OzB, and it pushed my Scribd expiry date out by a month right away.

      • Had you cancelled the Scribd membership already?

        • No, not yet.

    • Invite Friends/Read for Free
We offer free membership time for each friend or family member that you invite to read with us! Use the link included in your referral page to invite others to Scribd, and we'll add 30 days of free membership time to your subscription with us for each new person that signs up and purchases a premium membership. Keep in mind that you must have an active subscription with us using our credit card payment method in order for this to work, as we are unable to add or alter subscriptions purchased using iTunes or PayPal.

      bah..

      • Interesting - I signed up to Scribd using PayPal, and it's definitely pushed my next billing period back by a month.

    • If you go to https://www.scribd.com/account-settings#view-payment-history you should be able to see the detailed list of each payment and the time it covers. The referrals are also detailed in the payment list with the time they cover.

PS: Thank you OzBargain friends for signing up for the free trials and using my referral code randomly.

  • Anyone had luck signing up?
All payment methods are getting rejected Paypal Amex visa

  • No credit card or billing information is needed to redeem these memberships.
Enjoy complimentary access to these premium subscriptions as long as you have a valid Scribd membership.

I wonder if after you cancel scribd you lose the other memberships?
For $9-10 a month it still is a great price to have access to all of them

    • I am pretty sure that the Farfaria code is valid for 6 months. Not sure about the others.

  • This looks great - signed up and have done Pocket, Blinkist and MUBI - all of which I had looked at before (and use Pocket regularly)
Thanks OP for a great first post

  • +3

For those who already pay for MUBI - this added a year to my subscription! Thanks OP!

  • OP - you're a bloody legend!

  • Good Word!

    Thanks OP!

  • Nice find! Logged into Scribd, new account, Pocket worked fine, Blinkist isn't working: get to coupon screen click 'apply' (no error) - then prompts to either create account, or sign in (I tried both), then either way says 'this voucher code is no longer valid' :( ?

    • You will have to contact Scribd support. In my experience they will give you a different voucher code.

      • YEah emailed Scribd and suddenly now have 6mths Blinkist!

  • Late to the party here but massive thanks OP - this is brilliant for me since it extends my MUBI subscription for a year (so it's still only cost me a dollar!) and lets me give Pocket Premium a try.

Note for MUBI people: if you use the link from Scribd while already logged in to MUBI on your browser, the site will not immediately reflect the extended subscription. You need to log out and back in to see the new date (which btw is exactly 360 days extended, 12 x 30 ;)

I made sure to use the referral link as it's the least I could do ;)

Thank you so much OP, I have Audible subscription and have always been eyeing Blinkist. Now not only have you given me 6 months of blinkist, but I also realised that Scribd has many titles which Audible AU does NOT have… may end up cancelling audible and moving to scribd haha. Thanks so much :)

  • Cheers OP, got all of them! Used the referral link too!

Just noticed Optus Perks is offering 2 months free subscription to Scribd.

    https://www.optusperks.com.au/summer-deals/scribd-2-months-f…

    • nice find!

  • Thanks OP. Great post. I signed up and renewed Blinkist for 6 months.

  • I'm not seeing the Blinkist offers. I joined Scribd, signed up. I dint see any Blinkist offers there.
when I click on the links at the top of this pay, I dint see any offers either. I signed up to Blinkist but only got 24hrs free.
Any ideas what I've done wrong?

  • +1

The Pocket code doesn't work. Enjoying Blinkist quite a bit. Scribd does seem to have a decent selection of books and audio books, which makes it worthwhile against Audible or Kindle Unlimited. Only got offered an extra 30 days after cancellation.

  • Aaaaand got charged after 30 days by Scribd. I forgot to cancel. I asked for refund, hope that works.

    • Aaaand got a refund.

  • not sure what happened. My Scribd trial was extended to 2 months and it gave this message for cancellation:
We've been unable to complete your payment and your membership will end on 4/1/2019 unless it's updated. Please update your payment details to continue your membership.

And there was no more any cancel link. Today I checked and it still gives the same message yet still seems to be active and lets me access and download documents . Have send them an emaii about it. Looks like I'll have to pay another months fees :(

  • I got the Blinkist 6 months free subscription Thanks!

  • Is this still going on I’m wanting to get Blinkist trial

  • Verified still working as of today for Blinkist. Thanks OP.

  • Still working

  • Great thanks! Still working

  • +2

Looks like it’s only Mubi and FarFaria subs now, or at least the others aren’t showing up for me.

    • Yeah I get the same thing. Ah well, have known about it for ages and did nothing about it.

  • Only tubi and farfaria is now included

    Rest have been removed

  • for some reason my pocket premium has renewed again, even though i canned the scribd trial. im not complaining!

  • +1

blinkist is no longer on the perks, cannot see it on that page 😔

    • I couldn't find it either…
