A popular photo editing program similar to Adobe Lightroom.

Just enter any name and your email address (I used the gmail +1 trick). Have received an email with the activation key and links to download the software.

Aurora HDR is not just a tool for "the fusion" : it brings countless options to create perfect HDR photos, from one-click presets to advanced tone mapping, layering, noise reduction and powerful luminosity mask controls.

Lens Correction Tool: The new Lens Correction filter easily fixes all types of distortions of the lens, spheroid or corset to chromatic aberration and vignetting.
New user interface: Redesigned from scratch, the modern and responsive user interface brings a powerful and fun HDR photo editing experience.
Speed improvements: Up to 4x in the improvement of the RAW image processing, and up to 200% faster in the speed of mask and fused, which means that Aurora HDR 2018 is much faster than the latest version.
Multi-platform version: Aurora HDR 2018 will be available for both Mac and PC users with interchangeable files so that households with PC and Mac can share the same product key.

    What's the catch?

2018 version, new one is 2019

  • Thanks, was looking at this last week!

  • Thanks OP

  • This is free if purchased a NPhoto magazine.

  • +2

hmm I thought Aurora is only for stitching multiple images together to create HDR photos.

Skylum's equivalent of Photoshop Lightroom is called Luminar.

    • +1

Yep, Luminar is the Lightroom alternative. Excellent software.

      Not sure what Aurora is.

      • +1

Their web site does a poor job of differentiating between Aurora and Luminar, just the word HDR for Aurora. Corporate web sites are so often dumbed down that I have to go to 3rd party sites for details and specifications.

      • A Skylum team member posted a comparison in the forums.

Damn. Just paid USD$4 for this yesterday as part of a bundle and thought I got a good deal!

    • +13

Best deal you had at the time.

  • Could someone post their Activated/Used Product Key here, I would like to see if they are generic.

  • +1

Same as above cant see 2018 only 2019?

  • +2

Same here - no 2018, only 2019 trial. Perhaps the deal expired?

  • -1

Can it be used to replace adobe illustrator?

  • +1

I only get the "trial" for the 2019 version too

    • Deal expired.

  • This is FREE for trial only otherwise, you need to pay or buy

    • the deal expired that's why

  • +1

    Free again

    • I clicked the link but get the "page not found" business, so instead I went directly to the Aurora page hoping it'll still be free but no bueno. Can you post me the link you used just recently?

  • +4

Using incognito, it shows download page for 2018. Normal chrome, shows 2019.

    • Thanks! Got a key and will install on my Mac tonight
