    IIRC these are rebadged Astones…which is ok in my books! :)

    Check the prices against Astone for comparison, and also see if firmwares are interchangeable! ;)

      While very similar to the Astone ( which I own) these have much better firmware available and support. So no, they are not rebadged,.

    I got a ACR PlayOn!DVR and loving it, though I imported it from overseas with a 2TB HDD.

      @tron07 whats the fan noise like- is it noticeble if you have the thing running at night?

    I have just spent the last couple of hours reading reviews, and working my way through the A.C. Ryan Forum, and the main problem seems to be the lack of Firmware updates.

    Just too many problems that aren't being fixed in a timely manner.

    Damn, as this thing (HD2/Mini2) has great potential.

    Was considering getting the DVR but it can't record off HDMI so nah.
