This offer can’t be applied to your order :(

    • +1

      Probably starts at 10am

    • +3

Yeah, this is NOT SITE WIDE…. It is only "10% off eligible items"

      • +1

Dunno why you got negged, the terms are slightly different than the last 10% off deal. This will be interesting to see how they go about adding the offer to items.

  • Proudly price jacked.

  • +1

JUST bought something on a whim! Dumbest thing I've ever done but…

Any idea when this starts? Not going to pay until this kicks in hopefully :)

    • This deal is already live, will work on anything that isn't excluded. Seems like the normal exclusions apply.

    • eBay has been having daily 10% off sales for almost 2 weeks now so I don't see how you didn't take that into account (unless you haven't visited OzBargain for weeks).

      • I did…

It's still a good price even without the discount, but the discount is just some cream

Just did PURCHASE5. 5% of something is better than 10% of nothing

    • Cancel the order & repurchase if you're desperate

  • +6

Cmon eBay give us gift cards

  • +9

‘Eligible Items’ means all items listed on eBay.com.au where these terms and conditions are found and the coupon redemption code PROUD is displayed in the item listing.

What the? Is this a way ebay is making the selection shrink?

  • Here we go again.

  • +1

My item didn't qualify but I was still able to use PURCHASE5 for 5% off - hope this helps someone.

  • +1

its a bs promo.. toys/hobbies also cant work…pui!

  • I have found that the code works mostly for new items from Aussie sellers (cameras, computers, toys&hobbies etc), and some used items from regular sellers. And yes the bargains are there if you look hard enough.

  • I've got a few different used items for sale across computer and camera categories, and anything $120 or more is showing the discount as being applicable.

  • +3

Proud of the pathetic deals ?

  • -7

Tried a couple of random eBay plus sellers for some cheap tech i'd been keeping an eye on and it didn't work, calling bs until more 'specific' exclusionary terms

    • -2

Neg me all you like, but because doesn't work for me :/ minimum amount? selected stores? regardless, not in post.

      • +1

Lol, so I'm magically supposed to know the terms even though they aren't on the terms page? How about you contact ebay and ask them yourself.

  • +2

FYI: ‘Eligible Items’ means all items listed on eBay.com.au where these terms and conditions are found and the coupon redemption code PROUD is displayed in the item listing

    • -4

This is sometimes and not always the case with international codes, hidden ebayplus discounts, etc.

  • +4

Used to be 20% off selected sellers

Now every week doing this 10% off with high min spend

    • every week? every day! so much ebay spam with upvotes but no deals.

prince10 was advertised last night and not working anymore

    • prince10 expired midnight last night.

  • +1

    Didn't work for S10 plus from T-dimension2

  • God damn it, I bought something last night at like 11pm using the prince10 code as it expired at midnight. Could have saved an extra $11.50 if i'd waited an hour :(

    • +1

      How? They're both 10% off

      • +1

PRINCE10 was maximum $100 discount. New code is $200 max.

        $1150 - $100 = $1050.
        $1150 - 10% = $1035.

(profanity) I can't math, it would have been $15 savings, that's even worse haha.

        • Probably wouldn't have been a valid item anyway

          • +1

@WhyAmICommenting: It was in cameras so it was. I checked other similar listings…. you know, just to punish myself.

  • +2

    This working for anyone?

  • Think "Car & Truck Parts (6030)" might be in the exclusion list, for all the car people here. Or atleast didn't work for me.

  • +2

Is the code working doesn't seem for me

    • +1

seems to for me, even for items that don't have PROUD in the item listing….

  • -1

A maximum of 5 transactions applies.

    This is up.

  • We can't apply this code until you reach the minimum order total.

    but i'm on $128 !!!

    Why?

    • Did you win an auction or made an offer? I made an offer for $175 and yet couldn't apply 10% (but purchase5 worked)

    • I also am getting same error message and mine is $130 and all items are buy it now not auction

    • When i adjusted my cart to $150, the code works. Looks like it's not a minimum of $120

  • +2

I’ve tried the code on multiple purchases ranging from 300 to 600 and couldn’t get any to work. They must be experimenting.

This eBay offer is useless to me. I buy items from USA,UK etc and because the item is not listed originally on eBay Australia I can’t receive the discount. Basically it restricts purchases to Australian sellers or those who say the items are here and listed on eBay.com.au first. Also they are auction items and eBay doesn’t sem to like people buying auction items - only buy it now. I have about $800 aussie pesos worth of goods in my cart.

I called eBay about this and they couldn’t do anything about it. All they suggested was to wait for 2-3 days as there could be another code which allows foreign purchases.

The discount is in effect very limited as Aussie sellers don’t have all the items I want or have jacked up the prices.

Not a true discount at all. Come on eBay. Make some genuine discount codes that everyone can benefit instead of only a few.

    • Just grab the item number and then go to eBay.com.au and search the item number, I've never had any problems applying it to international items.

      • Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried this and it did not work. I spoke to the people in eBay about this and theynsaid it had to be listed in Australia.

  • Thanks OP ..code worked on $800 microwave

  • +1

Does it apply to auction items?

  • +1

Thanks. Worked for me buying a fridge in desperate situation as our fridge died today. Very pleased as saved over $150 on what was already the best price on the internet.

  • Must be a small selection of eligible items, I just added an assortment of items thinking it was site wide, got the didn't reach minimum spend message.

  • Pretty good price deal on huawei p30 preorder + Sonos speaker promo, even cheaper than a Samsung Galaxy 9 after factoring in cost of speaker:

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Huawei-P30-Dual-Sim-Pre-Order-ET…

  • No matter what I did last night my order would not complete, tried mobile browser, mobile & tablet eBay app and also a desktop browser, the order failed every time.

The exact same cart worked today (with this code). So try again people you never know your luck :)

    • With what code you were able to get 10% discount please? Your "with this code" link is apparently not working.

      • +1

"This code" meaning the code that starts with P in this Post / Deal (look up the top)

        • Oh ok, thanks. That somehow does not work for me despite the cart total exceeding the $120 limit. I probably have some ineligible items in the cart.

  • Does not work on most items.

Normally positive the 10%'s but it # in ridiculous how many categories new and not stated added on no go list : (
