Bunnings do engine oil. What a time to be alive.

    • I remember when they used to stock a large automotive range.

      • Good chance of it since lowest prices were just the beginning.

      • I remember when you could build a HQ Kingswood from parts in K-Mart

Good price, but not an engine oil, I'd want to put in my car despite meeting the specifications.

    • doesn't makes sense

Ignore the punctuation and try again.

  • Anybody knows if it is similar quality to Magnatec 10W40?
They both are API SN/CF, ACEA A3/B4, but this one is cheaper.
10W40 or 15W40 not a concern in Brisbane temperatures!

Castrol Magnatec has a bigger marketing budget.

I would still purchase the engine oil from Autobarn.
If you buy it from Bunnings, it is a signal to Autobarn not to reduce their prices in the future because Bunnings would just price match.
It is a dirty tactic used to prevent competition.

  • Bunnings is last place I would go to buy engine oil unless driving a bomb

Great! Thanks OP for post. Nearer and easier to get to than Autobarn for me.
