  • Sounds good. Anything worth buying? Gift cards? It seems 3% moneyback through MoneyBackCo also applies:-)

    Pity its $200

  • Shame we can't combine this with teh Amex offer of $50 beack for spending $250

Would be a sweet 28% discount otherwise.

    • Can you link your AMEX with paypal and use it for purchase?
      Will this qualify?

You cant link AMEX with PayPal sadly.

        • That's a shame (and lame)
Sorry I wasn't aware of this, not an AMEX user

        • AMEX will probably see PayPal as the store, not Dick Smith.

      • In PayPal you can only add Visa or Master cards, AMEX isn't in the list.

        • Suppose AMEX were possible, evisage AMEX merchant fee plus Paypal merchant fee and maybe even eBay merchant fee and foreign transaction fee all in one transaction.

        • DINERS CLUB also isn't on the list.

Just thought I'd mention. Last time they ran this promo they didn't pay me back on time. I was only reimbursed when I contacted them weeks after the claimed "payment date".

It's a good sale, you'll get your money back, just don't forget to make sure they don't "forget".

    • I bought a laptop during last year's boxing day, after a minor delay, I got my $100 cashback from Paypal. Infact DSE even sent me an email citing the delay.

  • I wonder if it's be like their colleagues at BigW where you had to complaint numerous times for 6 weeks before a manual refund was issued some 3 months later?

This is the same as getting up to 10% off the purchase price.

10% off on orders over $200. It doesn't sound as good that way, huh. Pity! I suppose it's good if its a set price more expensive item.

But… being that it's a delayed 10% too, you pay full price now ..and some point down the track you get your ten percent discount… when the product may have been reduced by at least 10 percent on the shelf…. and all the hassle of having to chase them about it…

      I just ruined Christmas, didn't I?
