      • You can use codes in-store? Not an "online only" deal type thing?

  • I'm on the market for some noise cancelling headphones for a flight and I found this;

Do like the over-ear and the detachable (and optional) cable, but not sure about the value of these. What do you guys think?

I bought these from the Sony Australia eBay store 3 months ago and have been really happy with them.

They are currently on sale there for $131.98 ($164.97 minus 20% with code POLAR20) and free delivery.

Founded on July 26th, 2017 in Shenzhen, FFalcon Technology is responsible for the operations of global smart TV platforms of TCL Multimedia and its subsidiary companies. It is also engaged in the design, production, manufacture and sales of smart TVs with FFalcon, iFFalcon or other new brands.

Simple joy, Simple love. This is our brand slogan. Our vision is to provide consumers the ultimate experience of products and services of family digital entertainment to make their life better and more simplified.

Goes on for a bit and in the end, I don't know what the heck the FFalcon stands for

  • Hidden away in the email is a new 12 month telstra plan deal, $65 a month with a 55" TCL UHD HDR Smart tv.

Your results may vary, but theres a chance of contacting telstra on their online chat witching from this 12 month deal to the telsta month to month with no end of contract termination fees, so effectively you could get this tv for a few dollars.

    • Why would Telstra let you cancel your contract for free?

    • Can confirm I did this with the $500 gift card. Currently on the month to month plan. Intend to stick around for a month longer due to Telstra's billing structure and then look around for something else.

      • +1

I did the same with the previous TV deal (hisense 43") although haven't cancelled as the $60 phone plan isn't that bad, but now have the option.

They (telstra chat) are allowing people switch from this $65 12 month plan to the new telstra momth to momth plans that come with no cancellation fees, and when they say that the current $65 plan will come with a cancellation fee you say that a few friends have made the same switch and that telstra waived it because you are staying with telstra.
They go away for a mimute to check and come back and say no worries.

Omce you're on the month to month plan, the terms and conditions mean you no longer have a cancellation fee.

This loophole will either be closed by now or possibly shortly, so like I said, your results may vary.

    • Not sure it fits 'cheap' but Fetch is very good

Waiting for the Pixel 3A to go on sale

  • Need some help guys, which tv is better besides the size difference 50 and 55” because apparently TCL make the FFalcon tv’s. It’s for a lounge room to watch freeview tv, tv shows, movies and sport. Any help would be much appreciated thanks.

    • Looks pretty similar to me. Compare the Details tab.

The TCL comes with 3yr warranty, and the FF's only 1 year.

I would cross out the FF 55" as the TCL is slightly better featured and cheaper.

But I reckon that or the FF 50" both serve your purposes.

  • Anyone try and sign up for their instant deals newsletter but never get a confirmation email?
