        Co-incidentally it was for 3 nights. But it was one booking, so It should have been just one $80, as it’s per spend (it was a single ~$600 transaction).

          How much is your monthly Amex statement supabrudda? I'm guessing you're a regular spender so Amex gave you special consideration for the $600. Nice score.

      Ofificially only in US and UK/Europe but most hotels will have their own gift card option (just for that hotel) if you walk in to the lobby you can buy the gift card to use at Hilton (insert your city here) for X $$$. This should trigger the cashback as they will be using the POS terminal that would be like when you are checking in.

            @impoze: Give mycar a call, they don't advertise hankook but can get them. I have just booked in for monday, hankook dynapro atm 265/60/18 for $687 a set after amex. They price beat bob jane by $1 per tyre

                  @babiguling: I ended up getting a set of Kumho KU22 as Hankook tyres don't come with their standard services. Although it was a different brand, they did match the price so I paid for 3 only.

      They ran a similar campaign in Hong Kong quite recently $2.5k HKD/$1k HKD credit. They only offered that to a few thousand signups as oppose to the large numbers here.

    I thought they might kick up a fuss but happily price matched Tempe Tyres. Don't have to deal with Tempe themselves is an added bonus.

    EDIT: originally booked for Conti's, called up again and confirmed they can get Michelin's so ended up with them. Don't know if this going to work for people who's >30km from Tempe though.

      The service I got from Mycar was top notch. Nobody stocks my tyres, so had to order them in. Got the Pirelli P7 in 215/50R18 price matched down to $213 a Tyre. $300 retail. Ordered on Wednesday, fitted Friday morning.

      My only issue is that their computers were down, so payment is getting processed by head office. I asked for it to be split over 2 Amex cards which he said was fine, but I’m relying on that being conveyed to the head office. Then possibly the fact because payment hasn’t been processed locally, that it won’t automatically track.

      Hopefully it tracks and no need to follow up.

    Just got my new tyres fitted at mycar, great service. Easily split payment onto a supplementary card which had the offer saved also. So with the hankook buy 3 get 1 free, price match to bob jane and 2x $80 amex credit it came to $151.75 a tyre for hankook dynapro atm rf10 265/60/18. (Mycar rrp $355!)

        Included balancing and disposal, I have tyre pressure monitoring so unsure about valves. Wheel alignment was $69 extra. I went to south Melbourne store.

        Just to add mine did not trigger $80 although I spent $815 in single transaction so YMMV. However AMEX CS are very helpful and have manually applied the second $80 as a good will gesture. She added that to be safe ask the hotel to swipe in $400 lots to ensure you meet the offer.
