On call savings rate now 8.00% pa @ RaboPlus

Effective today, 6th June 2008, we have increased the promotional rate on your RaboPlus savings account to 8.00% pa on call*. That’s a whopping 0.75% higher than the Reserve Bank of Australia’s cash rate.
The increased rate is available to current and new customers, and for all account types including personal, trusts, business and self managed super funds (SMSFs).
This new rate has already been applied to your current savings balance. Now’s a great time to consider taking advantage of our high rate by transferring new funds or setting up a regular savings plan.

Nice to see higher rates but this is for a very limited time - from their website —

So really its for only around 7 weeks or so.
Whereas others “promo rates” are up to january 2009 ie 7 months.
That’s crap - 7 weeks only
