Westpac has become the last of the big 4 banks to cave and finally introduce Apple Pay, with a planned introduction date of June 2020. St George, Bank of Melbourne, and Bank SA using VISA will have access to Apple Pay from today onwards.

Apple execs are probably saying 'nice try' after the banks tried to squeeze a better commercial deal out of them.
This should make up for the banks recent unspeakable behaviour.

Not sure if this applies to all customers or if they're rolling out slowly (I did see they announced it was coming in June), but I just logged into my app and it said 'Apple Pay is here' at the top of the screen. Went to the Apple wallet and added my Altitude card as normal. Finally!
Yes, I know. I even mentioned that in my post that they announced it for June. But it’s April 27th and I just added it to my Apple Wallet.

Doesn't work with their Visa cards but will with Mastercards, so you (and I) have to get your Visa card swapped out to a Mastercard (i.e. call 132032 8am-8pm and make the request) to allow it to be added to Apple Wallet.
