All sizes appear to be out of stock

  • Why do people buy these kinds of boots with a hard/uncomfortable soles? I'm not criticising, just curious.

    • because it's comfortable for them?

    • Whats uncomfortable for you may not be uncomfortable to everyone else. Some people wear skinny jeans some people cant handle them?

    • Skinny jeans etc. I can understand, but these soles are rock-hard, inflexible plastic. You can't even get your toes on the ground if you are standing still.
Bare feet are more comfortable IMHO. Curious to hear from someone who actually wears them.

      • I have the ripples. they are an awesome looking boot, once you wear them in they arent as uncomfortable as at first.. takes alot to wear in though ha. these things outlast any other shoe/boot.

@turbonetics is right, i am one that cant wear skinny jeans and it amazes me how people do. but whats comfortable to some isnt to others.

What are you putting up as an alternative that is more comfortable but a similar level of comfort? I agree with your comment below that bare foot is more comfortable, but unfortunately my office requires me to not look like I just rolled in off the street.

I wear a similar pair, the sole was initially pretty inflexible but got worn in pretty quick. It also has a gel insole which is pretty good.

      • Thanks for the answer.

For alternatives - I usually wear the boots that have a soft semi-transparent caramel colour rubber sole, about 10mm thick, which is very flexible and comfortable. If I can't get that I usually buy Hush Puppies boots, which are also soft and flexible.

        • These soles aren't much different to a Hush Puppy, but it's all academic with them out of stock - I didn't get any either

  • Its all out of stock it seems

    • Checked a couple of minutes after OP, and didn't find any stock then either.
