How much do you normally sell these for?

Price comparisons to RRP when you do not normally sell at RRP are deceptive and misleading according to the ACCC

    • +1

you can say that again, Anaconda does that ALL the time ://

    • It's not completely unreasonable, but I don't imagine people are paying full RRP for these on the regular.

        It's not completely unreasonable

It is according to the ACCC and what you are allowed to say in your advertising…

        • Best of luck with that then

Dead right JV. It's gobsmacking how many retailers don't know basic ACL, which is very specific wrt pricing comparisons as you suggest.

A whole lot of these cheaper on Amazon from the UK? I find Amazon Postage from the UK is often faster than post in Australia.

    Edit:

Looking Amazon has the RRP as $209 or less for many, and are currently selling for $99.43 for Australian stock. Sloppy deal

    • Hi! Do you have a link to the $100 on Amazon AU stock?

      • -6

Search for Keen Targhee 3 in Amazon. I saw woman's in there.

Usual Amazon shoe bs. Different sizes are very different prices, and often sizes are very limited. You have to work to find your bargain.

Cheapest I can see is $102.97 and that's for small (US 6) only.

  • I bought these for $40 on a crazy deal that was posted here on ozb a couple of years ago.

    • What's you opinion of them - comfort, stability, wear, water resistance etc? Are they worth $150+, keeping inmind that good boots are worth at least that.

      • +1

I can't tell you really. I bought a couple and gifted them to my parents.
What I can tell you is that I bought a pair of Keen Gypsum II at the same time and they're really solid. Very well built with very good water resistance.

I bought a pair circa 2017, they're pretty much my one-pair-of-shoes solution for travel, have been durable and comfortable. I also wear them a lot in winter when it gets wet out. There's some delamination between the leather and parts of the sole starting to occur, which I could probably glue back together if I was so inclined. Aside from that they've got plenty of life in them. I reckon I paid more than $150 at the time but this was before I discovered OzB. I have the boot kind, but I am strongly considering picking up the shoe kind.
