Logitech Craft Advanced Keyboard with Creative Input Dial $149 (47% off, Was $279) + Delivery @ Mighty Ape

200

Found this deal when looking for a deal on the "Logitech MX Keys" keyboard.

This item has been at this price before at the major retailers. I'm assuming Logitech is clearing these devices.

Probably good for anyone that does lots of professional editing.

  • According to the link, it only supports up to Office 2016.

  • Would be interested but I don't buy key boards without a context menu key (they have Fn key in its place).

    • It's called right-click… or bind the left/right FN key to context key?

    • I have this keyboard… Never once have I said 'damn this FN key' lol

    • Honestly, I won't buy it because of the CMD key for Mac. I know it's dual use, but I don't use Mac, so I don't want to see Mac key symbols on there.

Nice keyboard otherwise, and this is a good price.

a good product but overly price.

  • How is this keyboard compared to Microsoft Surface keyboard?

    • The surface keyboard keyboard looks nice!!! https://youtu.be/J4chKRBSwvo

I guess the main drawback is its bluetooth only so won't work from bios boot, whereas the logitech ones work wired, with the dongle or over bluetooth and can pair to multiple devices.

I'm still after the Logitech MX Keys myself cause it has all metal construction.

Don’t think MX Keys is all metal constructed. It just looks and feels like metal but actually is made from plastic.

        • The MX KEYS are all metal except the tiny top strip at the top. The logitech Craft is plastic keyboard construction with the Top strip and crown made from metal.

I got this from this comparison video: https://youtu.be/YJNNwaxmRms

        • Have a MX keys with me. Can confirm that the chassis is metal construction.

      • yeah the silver strip at the top of the keyboard is the only metal part the rest plastic

While support appears to have dropped and the keyboard wouldn't be ideal for most users, this is a dream for editors that have to scrub through timelines. Hopefully Logitech produce a new/improved version down the track.

Is this what happens when Logitech let the makers of Kraft cheese design their keyboard? ;-)

FYI I was able to get my local officeworks store to price match tech4u on MX Keys. Comes to about $150 after adding delivery then deducting 5% off.

    • Didn't even know this keyboard existed. IMO it looks way sexier than the craft and I don't need that knob in any case. Gonna find an officeworks with stock. Cheers

    • Ended up buying this at OW and they price beating the price of $141, so total came to $133.95. Keyboard feels very solid and has a nice premium feel to it.
