  • Almost as good as the Optus deal with 120gb data over 12 months for $150 /s ;-)

  • This was $100 only couple of months ago !
And might come back on that price !

    • +2

Yes it might. Or it might not

Lol, the dams are half full now jv

        • +3

          Yeah,….but also half empty lol.

          • @ozhunter68: You're wrong there ….the other half is full of air

  • 'Purchase amount should activate bonus Flybuys offers'

    Since when?

    • When I bought Boost recharge vouchers recently they did. I assume starter kits are no different.

  • I have Telstra with 12months contract expired and going month to month now. Can i avail this with keeping same no ? Any idea.

    • +1

Have to port out to different provider and then port back in.

      • To port to different provider, ll i b required to take 1month package etc or i can just call and ask thm to port my no without any monthly package ? Sorry if it seems dumb but never did this porting thing b4.

        • +1

You can port to a $2 SIM without recharge credit but you won’t be able to make any outgoing calls, SMS, data use.

  • +1

It's really weird how telstra don't include the Philippines in their unlimited calls but boost does and they use the same towers.

    • +1

Same network/towers/company,….different business model. That makes complete sense, why have two with similar offers.

  • Quick look at Boost and looks like a similar deal for $100 ?

    https://boost.com.au/shop/100-prepaid/

    • +2

Quite similar. Biggest difference is Telstra has data bank.

Does anyone know if I can replace the physical SIM card with an eSIM at any Telstra shop after activation?

    • Yep, best bet is to go to a Telstra owned Telstra store. Should be as simple as any SIM swap.

  • Anyone know if you can activate Global Roaming with these?

    • Don't think so. I looked into it and couldn't find anyway to do it. Boost mention something about roaming with their prepaid but I couldn't find out how to do that either.

    • +1

      Comes pre-activated. Costs

  • Its 60GB per month ? Will the same recharge pattern continue after 6months ?

  • Can we use the price beat at officework?

    • Good call! Added to OP.

  • Here is the catalogue link for anyone needing to prove the deal to Officeworks: https://www.coles.com.au/catalogues-and-specials/view-all-av…

  • Coles catalogue says: "$150. 60GB. 6 Months" $110ea

Officeworks sites says: "It includes unlimited calls and text to standard Australian numbers, as well as 150 GB of data to use over 186 days."
    https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/telstra-15…

    is the 150GB a typo?

    • Yes. Check the Telstra link in the OP.

  • how long before this needs to be activated ? i got 6 weeks or so left on boost so wondering if its worth grabbing this and sit on it till my current boost is up and porting to this one ..

    • You should be fine. The Starter Kit will have an expiry date on the back. It should be good until 2021 but depends on the stock at your store.
