This comes on various platforms (Android, iOS & PC) it's a simple but well featured journal app. It's not the usual thing I'd think to post on OzBargain but recently purchased it on Android and am about to buy the PC version. When I saw the discount I thought I'd share it.

This won't appeal to everyone, I'm using it right now for documenting a legal matter but you could use it for anything.

Features include:

• Cross-platform (Windows 10, iOS & Android)
• Cloud sync between platforms
• Attach pictures, drawings, audio recordings, files, tags, people, ratings or locations to your diary entries
• Full integration into system calendar
• Daily notifications remind you to write down your memories
• Automatic integration of your social media activity (Twitter/Instagram/Facebook/…) and your daily step count (Google Fit)
• Optional password protection of your diary
• Backup your diary with importing & exporting the database
• Export your diary entries as .docx or .txt

Sure you could use something like Evernote, but this is just better. Certainly for my use case it's been a godsend.

It's probably worth clarifying that although this is on the Microsoft Store, it's actually published by a third party, not Microsoft

Ha Ha I've owned this since windows phone era, today I click on the it , it still say " you own this application " , bought another one for android last year on the pixel 4 (65/month for 12 months plus free google nest hub " deal, a lot better than Evernote in my opinion.

    • It's really good. I liked it on my Android but it's so much better cross platform.

    • Thanks for the feedback. I'll be using this now instead of Evernote.

Thanks OP. Just grabbed it based on your recommendation and the other commenter. I've been using Evernote for a few years now for journalling (along with numerous other uses which will continue).

I hated that in Evernote, I couldn't easily insert photos, and if I did, the note became very unresponsive on mobile due to file size.

I really like that this (well, the Android version that I'll sync with this) shows me all of my photo roll from that day, and I can easily insert them (or files, audios notes etc.) into that days entry.

    Thanks again!

My pleasure, I'm glad someone found it useful. I didn't expect it to get many upvotes but if it helped 1 person then my job here is done.
