  Hi, it's the energy consumption nag again. Something ain't right about the specs of this tv, as given by Big W:

  "Energy Rated 7 Stars"

  Excellent- just what I'm looking for.

  "Power Consumption Max 380W"

  Appalling, disgusting. 380 freaking watts!!!!!!!! Is that a misprint? Do they they mean 38 watts?

  Why compromise? This is bound to have serious flaws, be it crappy firmware, bad power rating, lack of connectivity, poor black tones or all of the above.

  Do some serious research before you buy crap like this from a supermarket.

  Energyrating.gov.au has it at an extremely low 90 kWh/annum, so it is a typo. That makes it an appalling, disgusting administrative error only.

  A little confused about the usb part of it as the manual only refers to firmware upgrade via it.
  So probably no playing of movies etc.

  Only as a xmas present for my 9 year old daughter.
  2" smaller but with built in dvd player and usb functionality to play movies and record tv shows as dvr..

  Now I just need a good promo code to get further discount…
