Also deal link is a referral link

    • If you're after high point returns though (1 Qantas point per $1) $300/yr isn't bad. ANZ and NAB charge $425 and $395 respectively. The only mastercard with a higher return is the Qantas Premier Titanium Credit Card (1.25 Qantas point per $1), and that's $1200/yr.

Having said this, this card is pretty similar to the offerings at ANZ and NAB with the same point accrual and 120k-130k points on purchase. Perhaps slightly better with the lower yearly rate, but not a 'bargain'.

  • That’s pretty expensive!

If I am eligible to refer a friend, how will I be contacted for this offer?
Customers who are eligible have been targeted via email to advise them of this campaign.

For others wondering like me where the OP found this referral offer, it looks to be targeted via email. I didn't receive the offer although I hold a Westpac Altitude Platinum

OP, how many bonus points do you receive per referral?

I get 20k Qantas points… I have the Black card (but the referree/the one wanting a card now, can sign up for the Platinum card if wanting a lower minimum spend/lower credit limit etc, and still get the bonus referral points).

  • $300 Annual Fee
    ouch nooo way

    Have hold for 12months,. Erh

  • Does anyone know if you will receive a pro rata refund on the annual fee if you cancel within the first year? I know NAB does this as I received a ~83% refund after cancelling within the first 2 months on their Qantas Signature rewards card.

    • Hmm not too sure but if you have a home loan package with them, you can get the $250 annual card fee refunded (just pay the $50 Qantas annual fee).

    • Can I ask did you request this or it was automatic? I thought the banks stopped doing it as I was unsuccessful at getting a pro rata on many attempts.

      • Surprisingly it was the agent who brought up the topic when I spoke to them via live chat to cancel the card.
