    • wish they don't sold out

want to use those gift card

      really need them

  • Why they are so expensive ?

    • +5

It has higher write speed compared to regular version, so it can be used in 4K camera.

    • +1

16 cents a GB is a competitive price for the normal version of these cards.

  • Sweet! Picked one up for my Hero 9 Black :)

  • I just paid full price on eBay last night :'(

    • +13

Use the eBay Price Guarantee to claim the difference! Just jump on live chat and link them to the JB listing and they'll give you a voucher for the difference + 5% :)

      • +1

Hardcore ozbargainers should buy on ebay and then go claim the difference for an extra 5%!

  • +5

Bought two with 5% off gift cards.

For those in Brisbane CBD, Officeworks has no stock.

    • +2

Was planning to check tomorrow, thanks for the heads up

    • Woolloongabba had plenty as of 1730 this evening.

Must resist buying another micro SD card to collect dust….

  • That's really good price! Bought a Extreme Pro yesterday $38 from HN by price matching, thought that was a good bargain, I was happy, now see this….

    • I bought this a week ago at OW 32$ and now I see this.

      • +2

        Just buy this deal.

Then it equates to you buying two cards for 26$ each

    • +1

You bought SanDisk Extreme Pro. This is SanDisk Extreme.

      • Yes thanks for reminding, but I would just go with Extreme if I could see this earlier. Not huge difference between the two I think, but this one is almost the half price :(

        • If it is for family photos and videos, then I would still trust Extreme Pro more.

  • Would this be good for a Nintendo Switch or would it be bit of an overkill? :/

    • +1

      overkill,
for switch those regular one will do. thses are mainly for 4K video recording.

      • +2

Not overkill when the regular 128 GB Sandisk is $38 at the same place.

    • I think I wanna get one for my Switch! My current one has had problems downloading data the past year

  • I realised I'll need a case for the collection I'm starting to grow.

    6 x microSD and 2 x SD card case, $1.75 delivered from Aliexpress: https://a.aliexpress.com/_mrsFV0Z

    • I have a few of those. They're OK; the cards don't really "snap" into the pegs so they're liable to just rattle around inside of there as soon as you pick the case up. Also, it can only hold 1 full sized SD card. The slot closest to the latch is too narrow for another card.

Awesome price. Bought one, no idea what for.

    • for fun

  • Great price hopefully don't sell out

  • I carry laptop and portable hard drive to work, thinking if I should get this for USB purpose, so I won't need to carry the hard drive….

    • your drive is bigger than 128 tho

      • Yea, could transfer files to the drive once a while, but guess I'm too lazy to do so XD

    • Thanks.

I don't know why, but I like c&c more. And I always buy from those started the competition first. In this case it's JB.

      • I always buy the cheaper, incase I have gift card, some promotion on, cashback, credit left etc.

  • Can’t checkout at JB HiFi. Has the payment processor crashed?

    • Maybe just walk-in to the store tomorrow.

  • Just bought one.

  • How long are people letting their SDs age? I'm seeing data loss on Sandisk (not bad sectors) after 10 years.

    • +1

A lot of people use them until they break. Try to backup data regularly (especially for photos and videos).

Recently helped a mate recovered a faulty SD card. He was really lucky I was able to recover most of the photos so he doesn't need to go to one of those data recovery specialist.

      • +2

can I ask, what software you used to recover the data please? Thanks

        • +2

Disk Drill for Mac. I used Mac because prior to that, I had to help another friend repair her Mac hard drive (no luck) so I already had the app. It really depends on whether the SD card is only slightly corrupted or heavily corrupted.

My friend did try some free version of Windows recovery programs and he indicated those apps can see the files (but won't let him recovery the files - needs to pay for the app(s)).

      • I would like to know too.

  • Thanks OP, been looking to pick up a few SD cards because I keep losing mine around the house and this is a great deal.

  • hows this for GoPro 8Black, Fuji XT4, RX100M7 recording 4K?

    • -1

      Extreme-ly good.

  • I bought it today, thanks op. Now I don't know what to do with it.

  • Thanks. Grabbed from Amazon.
    Bargain !

  • I can’t find the deal on Amazon?!

  • Just bought 2 - still plenty at JB Hifi Marsden Park

  • Ah.. sold out at Amazon….
