Which Fridge? and from Where

Our old fisher and pykle fridge seems to be dying.

Because of is advanced age, it seems better to replace than fix

What brand fridge is best for reliability? Should I just get another F&P ??

Join your local library and they will likely have an agreement with Choice to read all content. Then choose a seller who'll take your old fridge away for free (e.g. appliances online).

    • Libraries have access to choice magazine but not always every choice review.

what size and budget are you looking for?

    • Normal size fridge?

Single door freezer on top. About as tall as a person?

Don’t need anything like ice or water or internet

      Budget anything reasonable

  • A few years ago we threw some coin at a Japanese made Mitsubishi. Completely awesome fridge.

  • most brands have good and bad products. though, I've found LG to be best at mid range, high goes to Mitsubishi.

  • Size?
    Budget?

Our F&P is getting replaced today, it's OK but getting too small for our needs.

We ended up with a Mitsubishi from hardly normal of all places $2800 delivered and the old one taken away ($1720 by itself)

    But without knowing your requirements……..

I recommend this https://www.appliancesonline.com.au/product/lg-454l-bottom-m… - I paid $849 - its now at $1449 so not sure how that has happened. Covid I guess.

Unless you are going mum and pop store, recommend appliances online as they will take away your old fridge and install the new one free. If you cant sell the old one.

I can also recommend using appliancesonline for the installation and removal of the old fridge.

  • If you get a better price without them needing to dispose off the old fridge, and you have place to temporarily keep the fridge, then dispose it off via council hard rubbish disposal program. It would be free. Even otherwise it would be fairly cheaper if you could take it to the nearest tip. Remember, you will have to remove the doors and cut the power cord.

  • We just bought a new fridge, tyring to sell our old one now on marketplace but it has a fair bit of damage. Advertising for a high price now to see if we get any bites if not will reduce the price slowly.

  • I know you said top mount but these are great…I have a left-hand opening stainless steel one :)
