[MacOS] Pixelmator Pro $30.99 (Was $62.99) @ Mac App Store

Same deal as this time last year. While not as fully featured as Photoshop, it's a good alternative for most people (especially for the price). According to Twitter the deal ends a little after christmas.

Absolutely love Pixelmator. I’ve paid a total of $70 (as a guess) for Pixelmator and then Pixelmator Pro a few years later and it’s a great alternative to Photoshop if you’re not in the industry (and maybe even if you are? Couldn’t say)

They’re always quick to update for new macOS versions and architectures, implementing cool ML features and stuff.

  • What do people think of Photopea? Free, online clone of Photoshop. I use it whenever I'm on a computer without the Adobe suite.

    • That’s one heck of a complicated payment system…

A one off payment to Pixelmator is much simpler.

      • It's free? Haven't ever looked at the payment screen or know why I would.

  • Got one, thanks OP. There is also PhotoscapeX to check out. I think free version will do for non-pros

I’ve been using Pixelmator for over a decade. It’s great software, and remarkable value.

I just checked, and there have only been 2 paid upgrades in that time. I’ve spent a total of $110 to use this software for more than 10 years.
