  • Good deal. It's $41.30 on Lenovo Education. Works quite well on Flex 5i Chromebook.

  • Great deal! Perfect for the lenovo chromebook duet

  • Can this be used with touch screen laptops like Lenovo X1 Carbon?

    • I think this pen is only for Chrome OS.

The Lenovo X1 Carbon pen support varies by generation.
      Gen 1 no pen support.
      Gen 2 https://support.lenovo.com/au/en/accessories/acc100370-lenov…

      • Thanks mate. I have Gen 7.
But X1 carbon is not listed in the compatible systems.
The listed "X1 tablet" is probably a different machine.

        • +1

In recent X1 generations only X1 Yoga are the pen compatible versions. Hope that helps.

  • thx OP bought one for me the duet, hope it works!

  • Thanks, op, got one!

Heads up, this is a really poor stylus with a bad build quality, and has already started to fail within 2 weeks of use. This coupled with very bad palm rejection on the Lenovo Duet which most will be pairing it makes it only suited for occasional use.

  • I've been using mine for about a month and it works fantastic for my needs. I use it about 90% of the time, including right now. I am yet to use it for any art application, however.

  • Worth noting that youll have to play with different apps to see what works, case in point is Onenote. On my Flex 5 it lags horribly in the Android app but works fine on the Web version. Really thought it would be the other way around.

Have currently narrowed it to Onenote PWA and Squid app for notes, Xodo app for PDF mark-ups and Autosketch app for "art".

Yeah not the fanciest pen but mine hasn't fallen apart yet and is doing the job.

Hint: beware the spring when you first open it up to remove the battery saver/membrane thingie ….. 😂

never saw it but looks like I've lost that (assuming it was there in the first place)

Great, now to try and improvise something to the pen works :/
      what a s*** design

  • I need to get a new pen stylus for my HP x360. I know that it should work with surface compatible windows 10 pens as well. Can any one suggest a reasonable priced pen please. Official HP and surface pens are about 120$. More than I'm prepared to pay

  • I bought one of these before Christmas for the Duet.
I'm thinking that my one is faulty as it inks before the pen contracts the screen, and after you lift it, so the pen drags marks between what is intended.
I tried contacting technical support but they were no help.
Any idea if they can be recalibrated?

  • How is this different to the Active Pen??

    • +1

This one complies with the USI specification, so should work with any USI compatible digitiser.

  • Thanks, used the code on another Lenovo pen

  • Expected to Ship - January 11, 2021
    Expected to Arrive - January 20, 2021

    • Coming straight from China

Shipment picked up: SHENZHEN - CHINA MAINLAND

      • That was fast.

Picked up from China on the 8th and delivered to Sydney on the 11th.

  • Lenovo replaced my USI pen, the new one works very well with the Duet.

    • I have been having the same issues with my pen. I contacted tech support and they told me that the USI pen is not compatible with the Chromebook Duet, so referred me to customer support for a refund. Customer support told me that they could not replace or refund the pen as compatibility is basically my fault for buying it. How did you manage to get your issue resolved, as I'm not having much luck?

      • Phone first, they opened a case and I attached sample images illustrating the dragging problem.
I thought it was now resolved but now have just received another DHL pick-up request email, so there seems to still be administrative things to sort out.
