Massive service station ownership group operating in Europe, the USA and Australia (since they bought all the Woolworths petrol stations) with revenue exceeding 20 billion Euros annually.
I have been using the app for a while - I initially thought the extra 5 c is a one-off welcome offer but it's there always. Some tips-
(1) You have to activate this extra 5 cent discount and once activated, you have to use it within 15 minutes
(2) Make sure to scan your woolies card first for the regular 4 cent discount and then this barcode else one of the discount might get knocked off (unless they have changed their systems).
(3) The cashier will say only one discount works but don't worry about it - have him/her scan both your card and this bar code. You will see both discounts on the screen.
(4) Woolies Caltex servos accept Star Cash gift cards. Time to time Comm bank has cashback offer @ Star Mart so you can purchase Star Cash gift card during the offer and use it at Woolies Caltex.

Just not the egift version. We don't have the tech to use those. Physical Caltex Starcash cards are a-okay though. Just figured I'd put that out there as it's something I have to deal with often. That and the Uber discount. Anything that requires a QR code? You're in the wrong place.

Used it the first time today. So when I scanned the EG barcode after the Everyday Rewards barcode, the attendant actually said, 'Yup, you can scan that too.'
I'd recommend flashing your Rewards Card then say you have an EG app barcode as well. Our system (unless part of the upcoming changes alters this, although I very much doubt it) comes up with a prompt for one but not the other. If you scan the EG one at the prompt it won't do bugger all.
EG is such a mess.
Pity the app is so crap!
I've tried to register 4 times since getting the email. It won't send me a code.
Tried the Android app. First page has broken links to terms of service and privacy policy which am asked to accept.
I much preferred the Woolworths Fuel app over this EG one..,
but the extra 5c discount for three refills was welcome..

for me, it didn't recognise the EG code unless I had scanned my Woolworths card first.
And like another user said, you have 15 minutes to redeem once activated,
so if its busy, be ready with app open and wait till you are about to be served and hit the redeem..
edit.. hmm, I wonder if my partner downloads the app on her phone, whether it will give the 5c for 3 refills again..
I guess, the systems should be clever enough to know the Woolworths account has already been joined with the EG app and the benefit used.

Thanks Op. Been using the EG for a while now but didn't know about the rewards section. Will use this as around my area Woolworths Fuel are generally cheaper than Coles Express but have been using Coles Express lately with 4c off shopping voucher and the daily voucher you get with Linkt account. I know there's a voucher with carsales.com.au but haven't tried to stack with it.
You can't stack carsales and Linkt. They give same discount except for first time carsales which is couple of cents higher (forgot if it was 6 or 8 cents for first time).
Just downloaded the app, and the expiry date for the extra 5c off is 16 Jul 2021 - i.e. 6 months from now (rather than 3 months).
u can just screenshoot the barcode and use it as many times as you like I guess ;), will try it next time, just combined 5c and 4c (Woolies $30 shop) with no issue
can confirm teh barcode is not single use. screenshot and use until mid july
