I'm unsure of the quality of this equipment, but I think it would be perfect for those who don't want to go to a crowded gym, or those who are time poor and would prefer to do basic work outs at home. The weight plates are in 4.5kg increments and they go up to 45kg in total.

  • "short people would love this not a complaint in that regard from my partner"

  • Wow…. I really wanted to pull the trigger on this until I read the reviews lol. I feel even $300 is too much now haha

There are a couple of YouTube videos which show it in action. It doesn't look too bad in my opinion. I have absolutely no experience with home gym stations though. Considering most home gyms are $1000+ I wouldn't be expecting anything super high quality with this unit.

Mine arrived today, and no complaints.
Not sure what quality people expect for this price, it won’t compete with a 2k gym.

500-600 would be a realistic retail price.

Glad to hear you're happy with your purchase! I've ordered one too as I'm a total beginner. $299 is way cheaper than the cost of a 6 month gym membership. Great value for money IMO.

This unit probably wouldn't be suitable for a gym buff or a body builder, in the same way that a $299 camera might not be suitable for a professional photographer who is used to shooting with a $2000 camera.

    • @SpanMeNotInOz did yours come in 3 separate boxes?

Edit nevermind, I see from the video posted below that there's three boxes.. I've received one of three boxes but Kogan has marked my package as delivered

      • 3 boxes with three different tracking and shipment details. I guess it’s to avoid \ track lost box issues,
So they can track each one.

First delivery was 1 box (box 2 of 3) the second included 2 shipments (box 1 and box 3)

These seem like a good price too given the free shipping

can you load more weight into this?

  • How hard is the installation??

      • Thanks.

    • It's not difficult, but it is very involved.
Needed to use my phone to enlarge the print, and referred to the online version a few times.
The online manual was different, preferred the instructions in the printed one, it's just too small print.

  • Just assembled mine until the last steps.. anyone else unable to attach the D13 rope to the weights? Mine seems arrived with a wrong rope. It has a ring after the screws that looks impossible to attach to the weights.

    • Mine had the part that connects to the weights up near the wrong end, had to pull it down to the other end of the rope.

    It is 399 not 299

    • Thanks. They have increased the price. I've just amended the deal info.
