    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/373237149674?hash=item56e6aaefea…

    • I ordered it too .

      • Just got an email telling me I will get a refund on the out of stock flashlights. Did anyone else get the same?
The reason was interesting, though not helpful
"Due to this listing has been participated in a certain promotion without any eBay notification, it caused lots of orders during short period and we can't adjust the inventory in time."

        • Yeh same.

        • Just got another email from them offering to choose another product of the same value so we don't lose out on our voucher, or take the refund.

          • @bamzero: I got a second message offering the same too. Nothing else I'd really want from the seller so asking for a refund. Refund of the full price would be nice so I can go buy the item from a different eBay seller, otherwise a disappointing total waste of time by eBay.

            • @3sky: DO NOT get a refund unless you plan to get in touch with ebay afterwards and ask for another $15 ebay voucher (chances are it will take you 30+ minutes convincing ebay to give you the voucher). You will not get the full refund amount if the seller cancels the item, you will only get $5.95 you paid refunded.

              • @videoman: Hi, thanks for the comment. Unfortunately already did it and you are correct, got back just the $5.95.. but it never occurred to me to ask eBay for the voucher. Would you have any advice where to start that process? Cheers

  • Got this for $2.9. Nice deal. Thanks OP !!

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Hydration-Pack-Water-Backpack-2L…

    • Be careful. Those unbranded soft plastics can really give off chemical smells.
I probably wouldn't drink water out of a random quality soft plastic pouch like that.

      • +1

Thanks for the advice !!! Agree that.

Would probably use only the bag to keep essentials while running and not use the pouch. Still worth for $2.9

  • stove oos :(

  • Bugger, camping stove went out of stock just as was trying to go through checkout.

      • Yeh, that's the listing I had in cart.

Maybe they'll add more stock. (after I've used the code elsewhere of course (or voucher hits 8000 uses)

        • i had the same issue.. i refreshed listing and tried .. it worked

  • +1

Skido, can you reach out to some of the sellers and ask if they can make some of their products $15

    • -2

You're kidding right? Auspost charges like almost $15 to ship some of those items to you. Especially that stove

      • Well I mean some of the items are already around the $20 mark, Im not saying that stove should be $15. Skido can reach out to sellers and they may be able to add some items to the sale

      • Some Business get cheaper postage aswell.

      • i don't mind getting another usb cable or SD card, don't have to be a stove.

  • Campmaster Single Butane Stove - 2 Stage Safety is sold out

  • Thinking be worth it to get the Ebayplus free trial to get another code?

  • +5

Those "life jackets" do not appear to meet any applicable standard for use as a PFD. They should be treated as a toy or novelty only, not as a flotation device.

    • +1

I think you mean fit for the rubbish bin .

    • They're not life jackets. Simple floaties that dont have a particular weight/submersion rating like graded foam padded ones do.

These things are guaranteed to roll your child over and drown.

      • +1

I have bought similar vests for my kids when they already learnt how to swim and just wanted a "life jacket" to play with in the pool. I think that might be the only appropriate use case for them:) Giving them to non swimmers seems dangerous.

  • Worth holding out and waiting for more listings or buy now?

    • +3

Code is for 8000 uses, will prob be expired if you wait.

    • Code is only valid once per account.

  • +1
    • Should have got the double!
Edit: nevermind. the sneaky buggers roll multiple listings into one

  • Damn can’t use my $5 late shipping voucher with these ☹️☹️

  • Great! Got a face mask scarf thing for winter. For $2 not bad! Doubles as a covid mask I guess.

BTW Some of the drink bottles even after the discount are a fair bit cheaper at Myer and David Jones, so do
    your research….

  • +2

For the love of God, do not put your child in that "life jacket" thinking that it is a life preserver. It's a beachball shaped like a life jacket.

  • Chin up bar is out of stock. Could not buy it.
