I called them yesterday and asked about the ticketed price of LG42LW5700. They said it's $870.
I called them today and I mentioned the 20% off and they said the ticketed price is $1070. I could have hagglde a better deal without the "20% off" bull crap.
Why do they waste our time like that?? I hope they go under and soon.
randomchecker on 09/02/2012 - 12:16 ¶Called them today - turns out NOT all stores were part of the promotion. Some then opted to put some of there stock on sale - and goodguys are copping complaints about this.
Was after the Transformer Prine…one store would order it in at the 20% off price (eta = WEEKS…but really unknown). One store was 'happy' to sell the scratched up display model at their RRP of $748 - no movement on price. Bad deal, and can't say I'd go there again. Ended hunting one down that was the last one in stock for 32Gb at $639 - equal to the 20% off the RRP. Happy customer. In the end, bargain for me, so +1 has been voted in.

I actually got an SMS from my local store yesterday for a 15% deal for today.
Scored the De'Longhi Nespresso Essenza (EN95SPLUS) with Aeroccino and 16 capsules for $237…also eligible for their current promotion for the coffee discovery box of 36 capsules too:

I think unless you're looking for a specific item that is never on special, there probably won't be great deals to be had. You can probably guarantee that most of the prices will be at their maximum, and this deal doesn't give you 20% off specials. Kinda reminds me of those "cost price + 1" deals that were available last year.
