Edit: I've managed to knock almost $300 off the discounted price of the Inspiron 13 7300 Laptop. Great specs (512GB SSD, 16GB RAM, MX350 2GB graphics) and weighs less than 1kg! Only 50 units available at 7pm.

I reached out to Dell and managed to secure a deal for the 34 inch monitor plus some extra stock of the S2721D and S2721Q at $1 cheaper. Consider the extra $1 as a free 7-Eleven small coffee from me.

          It is just the way Dell Ebay deals is run, they put the new listings up in advance and stocks are released at the scheduled time (probably automated).
          I had been "watching" an out of stock Dell monitor, when the new stock finally came they didn't "restock" the item in the old listing but created a new listing instead.

      Mainly this is used as a safeguard for selling in ebay.

      If a short delivery time is quoted, and the seller does not deliver within the time frame, might be possible to claim some refunds for item not on time.

    Can some of you legends please recommend me a nice monitor for home use and sometimes gaming?
    I'm a complete noob and have no idea what to go with.
    What I'm after is a curved monitor to try something new and the inches i'm after is between 32 or 34.
    Have attempted to do my own research, however still unclear and now my head is hurting.
    One of the nice feature i like on these monitors is the USB-C port but daaaaamn son, price goes up if you want that so i'm not fussed if thats not included.

    Would like to buy it today so i can claim it for tax purposes so if anyone has recommendations, would greatly appreciate it.

      gaming is 34", 32" i find it is too tall or, the monitor need to sit very low (leaving the Gap between the table and the bottom of the monitor to around 5 cm)

      I can leave about 13 cm Gap for 34" monitor.

      I don't think you can claim tax even when you buy today, Dell sends and date invoice on the dispatch date.

    Cheers OP finally picked up 2x 2721Q (via the BAM affiliate link). Stacked with Shopback gift cards which should therefore essentially work out to around $240.50 per monitor.
    After tax time and selling my current monitors it should be a pretty cheap upgrade.

        Instant. As soon as I purchased them via the app they showed in the "Purchases" section. No need to wait for any emails etc. From memory it has always been this way.

      I spoke to a dell rep before they said it is usually delivered within 15 working days. The eBay store isn't linked to their system, so they just tend to put mock up date during sale.

      Check laptop specs before connecting monitors. It has to be spec'd and have adequate ports to push 4K at 60Hz. If it is fairly newish and has thunderbolt 3 or tb 4 or display 1.4 or hdmi 2.0 , you should be ok. You can check processor limitations at ark.intel.com

    Just bought the laptop, Its a beast with the evo badge, I was sold at HDMI 2.0 and Thunderbolt 4 ports, enough to power my Dell 4k monitors at 60Hz. Thanks OP, do you work at Dell or something?

      So you know, the 34" display is on the list to use the Dell Display Manager which allows you to create screen layouts.

      The software is also known as Dell EasyArrange so do a search for that and it will likely show you DDM.

      I think that is what you might look at using as its Free, and its for Dell, and you can install Dell support Assistant if you already have a Dell PC which can download it automatically or else find it on the Dell site.

        Yes, I spent a lot of time diggin' into that yesterday as someone said earlier in this thread, Picture In Picture is NOT supported on this monitor.
        Just plain weird as earlier models have it.
        But yes, he was right. It ISN'T supported.

        But there are so many options with the DDM, I figured I'd manage…
        ordered….. (bye bye 2 x 24, hello desk space)

      For what's been posted on OzB, yes. Last week it was $1 more at $249 from dealbot negotiating with Dell.

      Using the search, you'll see that the previous best price was $269 during Black Friday sales last year.

    Where do we find the "Tax Invoice" please? I can see the order in eBay (still awaiting delivery) and payment in PayPal to eBay but no Tax Invoice from Dell. Any one have any luck messaging Dell via eBay feedback/chat?

      I got an answer from Dell: "Confirming that you will receive a tax invoice from Dell Australia with GST component. These are generally sent via email 48 hours after the item has already been delivered. We do this because the start and end date of the warranty will be based on the invoice date. The warranty starts the day the item is delivered. Because of this, we are unable to issue an invoice in advance.

      Should you need the invoice for the EOFY and the date on the invoice is after the 30th of June, you do have the option to request for the date of the invoice to revised once you've received this by reaching out to our Customer care."
