    Why not just use the free BOM app? Surely getting accurate information is more import than a pretty picture?

        Yeah nah, I doubt this is accurate. Weather apps that support international locations generally source their info from places that leave a lot to be desired for accuracy in Australia.

          From their site:

          Where YoWindow takes the CURRENT weather from?
          YoWindow takes the current weather from METAR stations network. There are around 4380 active METAR stations scattered around the world. Most of them are located in airports.

          YoWindow picks the closest METAR station to the location you choose. Then the current weather is loaded from this station.

          You can find METAR stations near your place on this site.

          In mobile editions of YoWindow you can also choose the following current weather providers.

            There are no weather stations in Australia that aren't operated by the Bureau of Meteorology.
            There is also no such thing as the 'METAR stations network', since METAR is a format for reporting weather information.

            You are likely to get less accurate weather from any app that promises this, because they focus on airports rather than cities.
