    "scientifically formulated"

Maltodextrin, Fructose 32%, Food Acids (Citric Acid, Malic Acid), Acidity Regulators (Sodium Citrates, Potassium Citrate), Natural Flavourings, Sodium Chloride.

It's basically just fructose i.e. sugar water and citric/malic acid.

    What a load of crap.

Yeah agree! I love ozbargain but there’s a lot of crap from associates here too…

      • What is "crap" about it?

    • Sugar, acid, and salt. So it’s basically Gatorade then lol

But, but… listen to the science!

    • I just mix my own cos it's miles cheaper, but the correct balance of glucose (maltodextrin) and fructose is critical for endurance sports and a current area of active research. One limiting factor in performance for events longer than a few hours is how quickly your body can absorb calories and this is the way to do it.

Does it have what plants crave?

    • Yes, sugar water in a vase will keep flowers fresher for longer

      • Water? You mean like in the toilet?

  • How does this compare to Red bull?

    • Nothing like redbull, these are designed for use during exercise, been using for years, very good product. Gatorade powder is similar but not the same component ratio though I don't notice much performance difference

I am a fan of their Aqua Gels but the local website throws me off, most item are out of stock and more expensive.

I've always ordered from Wiggle in the past.
Now using Wiggles home brand Gels/Tabs

I quite liked the High5 Zero tablets, but I was buying from Wiggle when they were like $5 a tube.
Wiggle are ~$9 a tube, and these jokers are $15.
Wiggle's free shipping threshold is now up near $200, it's a miss for me.

Noted that you can get hydration tablets from Aldi for $5.50, so somethings wrong with the website pricing (and Wiggle too).

  • The ASG store usually has cheaper than this, although a higher free shipping threshold ($99). https://www.asgthestore.com.au/product-category/cycling-nutr…

    • Pass, its the same store.. same items out of stock
