If dse sold the mini you could probably haggle to swap the hood for applecare as they are a comparable price. Couldn't find the mini on their site to check.

I noticed a few days ago that when you add any mac computer to your cart online on the Dick Smith website it will automatically add the 8GB Touch. When I asked about it in a Dick Smith store (Queen St, Brisbane) the next day, they hadn't heard anything about that offer currently running (although it's been offered before) and that it was probably an online-only offer (then recommended that I just order it online; they were out of stock of the Mac Mini I was after anyway).
So YMMV trying to score this in a retail store. Online should be fine, but of course, you can't haggle online.
Is it unethical if you then take back the apple computer unopened for a refund, and keep the free gift?

Only good for those that actually want an ipod touch or plan to sell it as I'm sure most people could atleast haggle about100 or more off their mac computer. Not a bad deal though.
