M950 Performance Mouse for $55 —> this is the best mouse ever (not for gaming)

    • +1

I personally prefers Revolution MX as I have small hands, I use M950 while recharging RevolutionMX, it's a shame the RMX got non-replaceable battery :(
I want to buy the Wireless Speaker Adapter, did it ever go on sale?

      • MX Revolution and M950 are literally the same size. I know, I have both.

I think what you actually have is the VX Revolution. See photo below…

        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Logitech_VX_vs_MX_Revoluti…

VX is on the left, MX is on the right (same shape/size as the M950)

EDIT - LOL at the brand names on the mice pic that I linked to from Wikipedia :-D

        • Mine is the MX came with the MX5500 mice-keyboard combo, so it's the Bluetooth version of MX Revolution. Maybe your hands are big enough so couldn't notice the difference :p

        • VX is my favourite. It just doesn't last long. I've got it sitting at home on a different machine, just that the clickity click part is not responsive anymore :(

Logitech Australia was kind enough to send a replacement transceiver as the old one had died.

EDIT: My MX1000 is still going strong, but I've given it to a friend of mine when I bought one of Razer's (which is a total flop). He also did not want to give this back. Have to clean the contact points to ensure it charges :P

      • Yes, the revolution MX is far better imo. I have the M950 as well and really miss that thumb roller thus hardly use it compared to the Revolution.

    • Well, maybe after the MediaPlay Cordless.

    • +2

I agree. I have used many mouses over the years, but the M950 (and the older MX Revolution) are the best by far for right-handers.

wait. before you buy, go to officeworks and show them this price and get them to price match. 55 comes down to 52.25 and you get it straight off. im still thinking of 905 or 950. I am currently using the VX nano since 2007 when it first came out and it is still study as but sometimes it double clicks. dont know why. :(

      • And if everyone does what you have suggested, companies like LTS go out of business and Officeworks jack their prices up to all time highs because there is no competition.

        • +1

now I have seen everything … people on ozbargain decrying the idea of price matching for financial gain.

supporting the business advertising the special , what a novel concept..

    • +1

What's wrong with it for gaming?

      • +1

        Not every responsive.
I have one, and don't like it that much.

I bought a MX518 and it is so much nicer to use.

        • +1

Same, I've actually got 2… both in used condition but 1's just sitting in the drawer :\
I have a G400 now (from DSE sale before LTS said $20 I think it was).
The M950 is too heavy for FPS if you're going to use it with its rechargeable battery. I was able to do a quick-fix and use Energizer lithium AA batteries (from ebay) because they made the mouse so much lighter, but even for FPS.. I'm just used to a centered, ambidextrous mouse (used to use razer copperhead), the M950 is an awesome luxurious office mouse + probably great for MMO but I really don't like it for FPS.

    • I have this and just love it. Originally paid $110 but the original was stolen so I picked up another one for $55 from here… great value.

  • +1

can you do 400vi's for better price?

    • Yes we want the 400vi's for a cheaper price=) =) =)

I liked it more when logitechshop had all their bargains listed on the same specials page…

    • just getting the word out there…

      • +4

Nah I wasn't talking about the posts on ozbargain, I was talking about how every logitechshop special used to be listed on this one page- http://www.logitechshop.com.au/products/specials

But now there are multiple specials pages- "Hot Price Promotion", "Sale On Now", "Featured Products", "Bundle Specials" etc.

  • its getting done

  • Squeezebox Touch please!

  • Pro 9000 webcam pls.

    • I agree, Pro 9000 deal please!!

  • It's still expensive!

    • come on bc webcam already there :P

  • Can you buy separate individual receivers to go with the Duet? Are there apps for iOS or Android to control the music aswell as the remote?

    • +1
    • You can skin the server for touch devices as well

    • Just also be aware that the duet is now a discontinued model…. still well supported by logitech, but not in production.
That said, $159 is a great price

      • Did they replace it with anything? I can't seem to find anything similar on their site.

        • the touch I think….

        • No it wasn't really replaced with anything. The Squeezebox Touch is the latest model, but differs in form to the Duet.

      • but can you buy standalone receivers w/o the remote (if I want to stream music in 2-3 rooms)

        • I think so…… my receiver and my boom both show on the remote….

        • You can buy multiple Squeezebox units and they will 'talk' to each other as long as they are on the same network. Although they all come as is ie no separate skus with/without remote etc.

  • Bought the M950 at JB Hi-fi for $68.60 (30% off) then found out about this. Bleh.

    Good price!

  • How does LTS' warranty service compare with bricks and mortar stores? If the product breaks can we return directly to logitech free of charge or do we have to send it back to LTS at our own cost?

    • +1

Warranty is via logitech. Call them, get a ref number, send it back to LTS with that ref number, get a replacement sent to you. Send back is at your expense.

      • @ sikeveo as Domingo said. It's like any retailer/reseller etc where you return the item to place of purchase.

  • It says 2 Max per customer of M950, but I can only buy one. Why??

    • fixed

      • Thanks!!
        Got two. It's great.

  • $99 triplefi 10's delivered pls :)

    • wish we had more stock, At $159 they flew out the door

      • -1

Can you source a pair for me and I can trade them for my UE700's :P + cash difference (that's how it works right?)

  • How does the M950 compare to G500?

  • +1

K800 please. craving for it for ages…
    i've just ordered the m950 mouse :D

    • +1

      I have the K800 and M950.
I spent so long picking my keyboard, and I love it. It's wonderful to type on, and it looks great.
M950 is also great, a couple of flaws, but its tracking is excellent. Didn't realise how much I loved it until I tried another mouse.

      • What are the flaws? I'm considering getting one despite not really needing it. My basic wired mouse has never failed me, so what advantages does the M950 offer? Cheers

        • +1

          Flaws
          -It's heavy
-Rechargeable battery does drain rather quickly with constant use
-The clickwheel sometimes slides/depresses to the right rather than go straight down (due to the curved surface of the mouse, and being a right-handed design)

          Tracking
          -Can work on glass

I would definately not buy it at its RRP.
I prefer the G400 so I have one sitting in my drawer haha

  • OMG just bought K750 for 95+ few weeks ago…… :(

  • Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere 2

    Logitech Pure-Fi Express Plus

Any idea which one is better? Will use at home with older ipod nano 3 gen.

    • The Anywhere 2 is better sound wise & is also rechargeable and more portable.
The Express Plus has the clock/alarm

So really depends what function you prefer - get both, one for bedroom, one for living room/ out & about.

    • I wish it had a mute button, don't think I could live without one.

      • Program one of the keys using the G Series Profiler

    • Thanks!

  • +1

    G930 Please!!!

  • +1

Would love to see either the g930's or the g540's on sale. I also dont understand why the g540's make no reference to the fact they work with a PC?

Great sales though BC, and thankyou so much for adding those extra 50 pairs of triple fi 10's :)

    • thankyou

      • +2

It appears you sent my pair of triple fi's before I even ordered them. less than 24 hour turnaround from Sydney to Perth :O. amazing.

        • It's cause its AaE, as long as LTS is still sending the packages out the door, AaE is insanely quick (cause they're partnered with Qantas)

    • +1

Did you use the F540 via 3.5mm/RCA on your PC?

      • Hi Logitech,
was just going off what I had read, but obviously I didn't read indepth enough.
        http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/…
duly noted and apologies for jumping the gun.

maybe just chuck a few pairs of g930s up at a ridiculous price? I have the triple fi 10's, the g930s, the UE 700s, countless pair of UE 200's (tell the kids they rrp for $39.95 and always keep a few packs spare! muahahhaa). would love another pair of g930s for the mrs :)

Bed time for me kiddies. I'll keep the updates going tomorrow…

  • Thanks LTS and OP - just grabbed a M950 mouse, excellent price!

  • deal on the M905? :D

  • +1

Thanks, just ordered a M950 mouse.

Can you believe I still use the original Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer? About time I upgraded!

    • +1

OMG. I'm in the same boat! I have a basic Microsoft Optical USB Mouse and have been using it for about 6 years! Still holding up perfectly fine though :)

      • That was my dilemna haha, I've had this mouse since 1999 / 2000 and yet it works perfectly fine, so I really had to convince myself I NEEDED this upgrade :P

  • Hi does the Logitech Keyboard Case work for Ipad 1?

    • No it doesn't unfortunately, but check out the Tablet Keyboard for iPad which does.

  • When will Logitech release ipod docks with DAB+ radio?

    • Unfortunately we can't comment on future product releases. Also with the number of Apps available on iOS/Android that can stream radio from all over the world including some of the local broadcasts there's plenty of access to content these days.

    • Well if that is the way it is going DAB+ Radio you will notice most reputable vendors usually follow on feature path. Now whether they do it or not its a different issue

      • Yes true, also depends if it becomes global standard or not, uptake from consumers, what content is available etc - bit like 3D movies and things like that. It's the age old argument of chicken or egg too

        • agreed
          BC

  • Just ordered a squeezebox duet. Does anyone know if it can work with the "JB Hifi NOW" streaming service?

    • Not that we know of, but let us know if you get it working.

    • There is better streaming services out there.

    • Is it possible to stream from iPod or any AUX input for iPod or MP3 player?

  • could i please know how long the delivery takes and when does this sale end?
    thanks

  • Can you do a deal on the K270 keyboard? Looking to go wireless with that and the M950.

    • K270 coming up

      • still coming?

  • Well it seems the squeezebox touch is already discounted and has a limit 1 per customer on it.

    http://www.logitechshop.com.au/logitech-squeezebox-touch.htm…

    Last week that was $290

Tempting but hit $230 last year
