In case someone thinks this is 50% off:
    * you spend $40 first and get $40-worth of food
    * then you spend $0 ($20 minus $20) and get $20-worth of food
    * you spent $40 and received $60 of food
    * that's 33% off, ideally
    * you probably won't be able to spend those exact minimum amounts, so
    * it's going to calculate at less than 33% off.

Still a deal and I wish I had it in my app.

Also a note: Impossible Burgers are just great.

Also a note: delivery price is more expensive than pickup price.

      • +8

Yup, I see every burger is $2 more expensive.

Can I get it delivered to a table in store?

Grill’d is much nicer if you can eat it right after it’s made.

What is companies obsession with delivery? We’ve gone full Wall-e.

      • +1

yep, they are trying to get the market that doesn't want to dine in and eat it hot …. or pick-up and bring home themselves after you get cold beer etc at Dans or Liquor land docket beer deal ….

my local thai restaurant actually gives discounts if you pick it up yourself ….

        • Cashing in on people’s laziness really.

      • +2

Restaurants prefer it if you pick it up or dine in, customers are the ones pushing for delivery. The companies actually making money here are the middlemen (Uber Eats, Menulog, Deliveroo, Doordash etc.) who charge ~30% fees to the restaurants.

Awww, I already miss the Impossible Burgers.

  • Can you get the vouchers more than once I.e. order $40 and get 20 and then a week later push another order for $40?

    • Also want to know. T and C wording doesn't say it's a once off thing, so maybe can use multiple times within the deal dates

  • Wondering how to appropriately maximise the benefits here.

I've got my 'birthday' happening now for a free drink with any main, and an offer for HFC (fried chicken pieces) with any main purchase. They can't be used at same time/in combination unfortunately.

If I used one offer with +$40 purchase today, then I could use the $20 bonus to pay for a main to get the other offer perhaps?

    Yuk

  • My order was completely stuffed up last night by the delivery partner Doordash. The store was swamped with orders and they had to stop deliveries after the debacle. I am still waiting for my refund.
