Hi OP, still waiting for my boo boo

I would love another nokia but the N9 isnt that well priced as it has a dead OS on it.

    • Yes, great hardware - shame about about OS

    • by 'dead OS' you mean Meego, but many people will be thinking of Symbian.
Nokia is sinking rapidly, and even the new flagship 808, should be renamed 'Titanic II', thanks to it's Symbian heritage.
for anyone thinking of buying another Nokia, make sure it has the word 'Lumia' in the title, or you will be bitterly disappointed with performance, useablility and stability. even a first-gen Windows phone is a little iffy, but at least you know you'll have a snowflakes' chance of getting updates to the next version and decent apps for it.

my bet is (if Nokia doesn't end up in receivership first), they will be completely assimilated by Microsoft, the next major phone will be the Nokia 818 (same huge specs as the 808) and will feature Windows 8 Phone, in the next 6-12 months. that will be a device worth waiting for, and a serious contender to claw back the lead from iPhone 5 and Galaxy S-III.

  • im still seeing the samsung ace at $202

  • A white Samsung Galaxy Ace would be nice :)

    • in the contents it says….

2 x Rear covers (Black and White)

  • Telstra locked Galaxy Ace is $169 at Dick Smith North Parramatta. In fact, all Telstra prepaid phones are 15% of at their closing down sale.

    • But this one is unlocked. and most people wouldn't be able to get to that store.

I presume the nokia has 24 month warranty then? As all AU official stock have 24 month warranty on nokia hardware

  • The problem is that as soon as the Nokia 808 arrives this is going to the the second best camera phone by a very large margin.
The price would have to drop a lot more to even consider it seriously.

    • Sony xperia s is now the best camera phone at 12mp and 1080p @ 30fps video recording
And you must be thinking of the N8

    • the 808 is not going to win any awards as a phone, only as a compact camera — Symbian has been utter rubbish for at least 6 years, ie around the time Razr and iPhone really took off, but Symbian's development has stagnated far longer than that, with marginal UI improvement or innovation for a decade.

  • Thanks for the deal. just bought one galaxy ace for my sister using paypal.
    How long is the shipping?

  • The price of Samsung Galaxy Ace is gradually coming down due to the release of the New Ace Plus.

  • Thanks Unique Mobiles.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830t arrived less than 2 days after it was ordered. Nice phone too.
