Not bad - only 75hz though… but KVM function is nice

    • +2

      Curved 144hz in $20 more.

      • +3

Isn't that a VA panel though? Not really comparable to IPS.

        • +6

Depending on the use case, some people may be fine with (or even prefer) VA panels.

@PKBeam: I have the 31.5" (16:9) / 144Hz AOC, has been great for WFH and Xbox series X

            • +1

@mrjaytee: $13 cheaper now than when I got in October 2020

    • Kogan has a 144hz one usually goes on sale for $550, no kvm though

    • +1

If you want a 144hz, 34", IPS , KVM go the Gigabyte M34WQ

      https://www.gigabyte.com/Monitor/M34WQ#kf

It's more expensive obviously. But it's a damn good monitor.

Only real downside is that it isn't curved, corners can get a little hard to see. But for all the rest it's awesome.

Doubt it'll have a deal anytime soon though because it's pretty new

  • Doesn't look like digidirect is part of the retailer's for the redemption unless they come under a different name?

    • Yes they are. It is on the reseller list of AOC's website.

      • Yeah I saw that, but they aren't in the redemption dropdown.

I called DigiDirect and the guy didn't sound sure but then said it wouldn't be covered. I called AOC and he wasn't sure either - said to talk to DigiDirect.

I'm going to take my chances - under $500 for a 1500R 34" display is worth it IMO. Sounds around as good as the Dell but with a more aggresive curve (I don't think 1800R would be enough - I'm using to replace my broken 1500R Xiaomi).

I don't want to risk waiting for a Dell sale which may not happen!

        • but which one did you choose, did you just picked a random one in the list?

          • +1

@man of war: I haven't submitted yet, but yeah I'll just pick the first option I think and let them sort it out!

            • @booboo: cheers gonna do the same

              • @man of war: Did any of you get the promotion? I just got an email saying that my submission is missing information such as the digiDirect's ABN, Invoice Number etc… I used a screenshot of the eBay order as my submission. Any ideas?

@Lukey90: I got my egift card. Direct messaged digidirect on ebay for a receipt.

                • @Lukey90: Yep, I got the gc already. just ask digidirect for receipt and submit to aoc

    • It's there on the Ebay ad from digidirect.
      2nd picture.
Also mentioned rght at the bottom of the ebay ad

    Thanks OP, bought one :)

Bought one during the last sale for $489. Received the gift card in 10 days. Overall built quality and the panel are great. The base stand is also flat so you can put stuff on it without sliding. It has a black brush metallic theme on the panel frame and stand which doesn't look plasticky. It also has a factory calibrated report.

But had to returned it to claim for warranty as there static noise is coming out from the speaker and headphone out.

    • Omg I'm going through the same thing now. Did they replace or refund?

      • I requested for a replacement but was told they needed to check the monitor before they decide. If this a common issue I might as well ask for a refund. I need to use the headphone out so I only have one audio connection to a work laptop and my desktop. So this feature is essential for me.

Can you check if you are having the same noise? I save mine on this link.
        https://www.filemail.com/d/ibmjjqdslcbasff

        • The audio is faint but I think it's the same issue. It goes away if I plug something into the audio socket.

    • I mean who uses the built in speaker for any monitor?

      • It's a static noise which I suspect is an earth leakage issue whenever something is connected to the monitor. Not actually using the speakers

  • farkkkkk…I just bought two of the 31.5" today for $349 each

  • can someone explain the 144hz monitor for this or the famous dell s2721dgf

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Dell-27-Inch-Gaming-Monitor-S272…

    • +2

Ultrawide vs 27 inch so not really in the same category to compare. I think most ppl like the s2721dgf with the famous 399$ discount price, cause IPS > VA at this price range. But if you like bigger screen and ultrawide then s2721dgf may not be your taste.

  • +1

    pulled the trigger, thanks op!

  • I wonder if the 34" is comparable to dell ultrawide 34"?

    • Looked similar but this has a tighter curve (which I prefer)

  • maybe this is a silly question, but do they offer tax invoice?

    • Yes. I just messaged them on eBay and got it

  • If you don't receive it before the 20th? I mean can you apply for the voucher with your ebay receipt? (massive delivery backlog to WA)

    • You need to upload a photo of the serial number so if you don't receive it before the 28/2 which is the claim end date then I'd say it's a no.

  • OOS

  • Thanks op! Bought the 34" 144Hz one :)

  • got the 34" curved ultrawide!
anyone else having trouble filling out the form? mine don't seem like they're going through and it doesn't seem like there's any confirmation of me uploading the file before i hit submit. tried both chrome and edge

    • +1

Yeah there's no confirmation for attachments but they are mandatory, meaning it should be fine when you get the submission confirmation. (I tested out without attaching)

  • Bought one. Arrived today.
Backlight is dead on half of the screen :(

  • Poor build quality - backlight bleeding was atrocious on the first unit, second unit has the annoyingly loud buzz. Would not recommend to anyone.
