92041173516 - Have fun folks. And like always reply with used so others know the code has been used.

    • +2

      It’s not unique

  • +1

    Got the same code

  • Didn't work when I tried
"Coupon Does Not Apply To This Basket"

I'm currently deciding between Tab S8+ and the iPad Pro 11" although I wanna see what the new models offer when they come out.
Was tempted to grab one at that price

    • The code is for the sand colour. Try again.

      • +1

Ok works with the 12.9" but not the 11" one for me.
And after trying again about 12x it now works for the 11"?? Weird, forget I said anything.
        Thanks OP :)

    • +3

It only works for one colour (sand). Would have preferred the other colour but discount is discount.

    • I bought a tab s7 because it offers s pen and is cheaper. To be honest, i would rather have bought an ipad. Some apps just don't work as well on Android tablet.

But if you are using it for multimedia and surfing the internet, then yeah tab s8+ will be pretty good.

bit sad i went for the magic keyboard - dont get me wrong, it's a bloody nice bit of kit but it's practically doubled the weight/bulk of the ipad pro.

    • These similarly add weight and bulk to the iPad. I have the 11” one and like it but it’s undeniably heavy.

      • ah, I dont feel so bad then. Like I said, although its up their in the $$$$ it is a nice bit of kit. Kinda wished it could be folded back as a folio though.

I got the Magic KB - the keys are really nice, and the raise is a great feature, but the lack of volume and media keys drove me up the wall. Ended up getting the Combo Touch, which is a better product IMO. The mouse occasionally drops out for some unknown reason, but I can live with that.

The best pros for the combo touch is that you can actually take the keyboard off without having to handle the naked tablet on hostile surfaces (ie, kitchen), and the kickstand just makes it much more versatile. I found the Magic KB doesn’t do much for dust protection, and it doesn’t tilt back nearly as far I’d like it to, which makes writing a pain.

The media keys make it much easier to change volume or tracks than having to go to the control panel drop down in the corner, like on the Magic KB.

Edit: I’ll be selling a barely used 2021 11” Magic Keyboard did anyone is interested :)

      • I dont mind the volume keys as it's a physical button on the ipad itself - or the media keys but im so used to pressing f5 to refresh browser.

huge pro on the combo for removing keyboard but protected tablet. When I was considering MK I was like, wow how cool will it be to have in the kitchen for recipes etc Now I have one I'm thinking -hell no I am not having that in the kitchen….

I paid $206 for this on Amazon for Boxing Day sales etc, and find it to be quite decent. It's been great, and a nicer price point than the Apple equivalent. For me I really wanted the adjustable kickstand and this fits the bill.

The only negative point(s) for me are:
    the mouse cursor lags occasionally
the case is a little chunky for my liking (on the flip side it offers great protection)

    • I know what you mean. At that point (iPad Pro with a keyboard case) it is either a compact laptop (which the iPad isn't) or a thicker tablet (which goes against the point of getting a tablet). Lately I have been toying with the idea of getting two types of cases. On days where I want a very 'compact laptop' I would throw in this case and on days where I just need a tablet, I put on a different type of case.

      • +1

I thought of that too, but the fact you can ditch the keyboard is enough for me. Since not travelling so much it's not a high priority for me right now.

thanks op, got one for ipad Pro 11"

  • +1

Thanks.. Bought the Combo Touch for iPad Pro 11"

    Perfect for tax deduction :)

  • +1

Thanks! Got one for the 11"

I've been wanting one for yonks!

  • Can I ask all you iPad Pro users do you use a tempered glass protector? And if you do what brand type have you found is best? Tx

    • I've bought
      https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07TMCXRFV
      and
      https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07GZTRC8Z

and was pretty happy with both. The first one with the installation frame really made installing it perfectly super easy.

Do note that both does increase glare/reflection in very bright, sunny situation

Not on my 2021 11” and never needed it on any of my old Pro’s.

Unless you’re in an around a lot of dirt or grit in your fingers (ie you’re a plumber or mechanic), the general consensus is that it’s no necessary with today’s glass technology.

I do like to use a case to avoid damage from falls though and prevent scratches though.

    • I use a paper like screen protector. Makes it less slippery when using the pencil.

  • Does anyone know if the one for iPad Pro 11” $149.97 will work with IPAD Air 4th gen ?

    • +2

Can't speak 100% on this topic but I do have the old Folio Touch with the iPad Air 4th gen and thought the same before Logitech released an iPad Air model — there's some things to consider when going with the iPad Pro 11" case:

      • TouchID/fingerprint sensor will get blocked, meaning you'd have to revert to passcode if you have screen lock
      • Speaker cutouts are different — you may end up having more speaker grills blocked
      • Microphone cutouts are different — iPad Pro has two at the top-side, while iPad Air has only one — meaning that iPad Air's mic cutout will probably get blocked (because positions are different)
      • I'd imagine camera cutout wouldn't be a problem as the older iPad Pro Folio Touch cases worked fine with 2018 iPad Pro 11
    • The product page shows there is a separate model for the 4th gen.

      https://www.logitech.com/en-au/products/ipad-keyboards/combo…

    • +1

The gen 4 iPad Air is 0.2mm thicker. I would imagine you'd be able to squeeze it in, but it'll be a pretty tight fit.

I think the bigger problem is you'll lose access to Touch ID, they make an iPad Air version specifically that has an opening for the Touch ID sensor.

    • No, different speaker placement.

  • mmm I kinda want one but I find that cases without a little pocket holder for the pen isn't suitable for me. I throw my ipad into bags and the pen just comes off the ipad without it

    • I’ve lost my Apple Pencil :( suspect similar incident.

      • +1

It's definitely a weak point how easy it is to lose.I use a hard case with a slot, but still recently manage to lose mine. Luckily found it down the lounge, but would be nice if Apple had a "last connected location" so you can workout a rough place to start searching from.

        • ESP with their AirTags, and now AirPods having find my capability…

    • Try the Logitech Folio Case for iPad Pro. It has a magnetic loop that goes over the case. The cases marked '1st and 2nd Gen 11inch' will fit M1 Ipad too (as I have one). On ebay, you can find 'New' for around $150-170. Con - you cannot take out the keyboard and is heavy. Pros - Built like a tank and provides very good protection to iPad and has a holder to the Pencil.

      • I had this one - it was HEAVYYYYYYYYY. I sold it off as it was heavier than my full sized laptop.

  • Could someone help me find a deal for an iPad now😋

    • +1

Not a big discount, but I just price matched with Officeworks against Amazon AU for the 12.9 256GB Wifi model for $1557 delivered

      • wow, I have 3 ipads but never paid more than 1K since inception

No offence might as well buy a Ryzen 7 2-in1 less than that :)

        • +1

The saddest part is the one I bought is normally $1800 RRP so it's not even a huge discount…just that I don't have much of an option if I like the 10:7 aspect ratio and I've been absolutely spoiled by monitors and phone that has high refresh rate :(

  • grabbed one, have been looking for a while for the 12.9 M1 good reviews..

  • Does anyone know when the Combo Touch case will come out for the 10.5" iPad Pro (A1709). I've been keeping an eye on this page: https://www.logitech.com/en-au/products/ipad-keyboards/combo…

But it's been "Coming soon" for ages.

  • -1

    No space the Apple Pen….

    • No space the Apple Pen….

The pen is literally there attached to the iPad in the first pic for both the 12.9” and 11” variants

      • He means a slot to hold it in place.

    • I have one and the Apple Pen fits perfectly.

  • +2

Thanks OP this is the best! I've been wanting one of these for ages but just couldn't justify $300.

  • +2

Don’t forget to use him/her cards if you have them, or get 5% off from various gift card sellers.

    • isn't it 10% currently at Big W

      • I wouldn’t consider 20x points as 10% off.

        • Everyone uses the points at supermarkets anyways, no loss

          • @HangryCakeStore: Yeah but you can get woolworths gift cards at 4 or 5% off, and it’s $110 ‘value’ for $100 so initially, it’s only 9.11% off, minus the 4-5% and it’s the same or less than a raw discount of 5%.

With Suncorp I bought exact gift card of $149.97 so there was no waste.

          • +1

@HangryCakeStore: Be very careful with Woolworths Rewards. I had some unused Rewards dollars on my card and somebody used it in another state in January.

I thought they managed to log into my account but when I reported it they said they haven't accessed my account and they simply used my card number or barcode.

While investigating I quickly realised Woolworths Rewards has glaring security issues:
            - Login with email OR card number, increasing vectors of attack
            - Multiple ways to authenticate, again increasing vectors of attack
            - No two factor authentication
            - Your points are automatically converted to rewards dollars every time you reach 2,000 points
            - No PIN or other form of verification to use rewards dollars
            - Card number/barcode is very easy for scammers to iterate and see if they get lucky

Unlike Flybuys, where you have to choose to convert points to shopping dollars, and then you have to enter a PIN to redeem those shopping dollars.

They replaced my card but so far doesn't look like they'll replace the rewards dollars that were stolen, so I think I'll stop using it.

            • @lint: Thanks I had my card replaced recently so no biggy, but better you should post this as your own forum to inform others

    • I got 5% off from Suncorp rewards but Woolworths has 10% off the him cards in 2 days. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/685721

Finding stock of the case in a couple days might be the issue though.

      • If you're willing to pay delivery, you could wait. They had trouble finding the stock I ordered online and had to take from the shelf, so stock might not be rife depending on where you are. 5% is enough for me and with Suncorp, you dont have to end up with 3c on the card.

  • +1

Thanks OP! just picked up mine

  • I have the 12.9 but it just makes the iPad so much heavier.

  • +2

Cheers OP. Grabbed the last 1 from my local JB. It didn’t say they had any in stock online but called and they had 1. I was considering the apple one but couldn’t justify the price. This is a great deal for a case that is in some ways better for me as I’d like to take the keyboard off sometimes.

    • I also got a last 1, but the seal was cut, was yours security sealed?

      • +1

No seal on mine either but the case doesn’t look like its ever been used before?

        • Picked it up yesterday, mine had no seal either, the packaging had magnets on the side. I thought that was pretty lax but it looked brand new inside.

I did have a bit of plastic around the camera cutout and the side of the case that would probably prevent it from being used if it wasn't removed.

  • +1

Would 12.9"(5th Gen) be compatible with 3rd Gen?

    • The differences seem to be the 5th Gen is 0.5mm deeper than the 3rd Gen, and the speaker grills are in a slightly different place. This YouTube review didn’t have any issues with either. This Redditer noticed a degradation in sound quality.

  • +1

Thanks legends. Just what i need. An upgrade from the apple folio. :). Just in time to start studying again.

  • How’s the kickstand on this?

    • I’m impressed so far in my short time of using it! Very adjustable and feels sturdy.

      • Wish they made a version without the keyboard, rarely use one.

        • Try Supacase. They have a really great kickstand and no keyboard

SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Pro Series Case for iPad Pro 11 Inch (2021 / 2020), Support Apple Pencil Charging with Built-in Screen Protector Full-Body Rugged Kickstand Protective Case (Black) https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B096X6GVY6/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt…

          • @giventofly: I have those for my 12.9 inch pros. It’s good but I like it when the kickstand is variable like the Logitech. The Supcase only have 1 viewing angle.

No click and collect near me. Had to get one posted, too good of a deal to pass out on lol

  • +1

    Thanks OP, picked one up.

Been contemplating a magic keyboard for ages, this looks better (and price is pretty damn fine)

  • +1

Thanks OP, bought one for the 11inch. Now I have screen protector and a case but waiting for the iPad 11 pro go on sale : )

  • Unfortunately not compatible with the older ipad pro models

  • +1

Typing from this now. Was previously using the Apple Folio case, and had to lug a BT keyboard about. This is much nicer.

Keyboard is a little small on the 11”, but I will get used to it.

  • -2

I love, love, love my Brydge - amazing keyboard and good protection for the iPad when I take it off the (magnetic - swoon) case. It’s weighty but that’s what keeps it upright and steady. Great trackpad and very handy function keys that mirror a laptop keyboard.

This is the 11in but they have 12.9 too.

    https://www.brydge.com.au/products/brydge-max-plus-for-ipad-…

  • +1

    Thanks OP ..got one… 11 inch….

  • It’s not working for me. How can you make it work? I’m trying to grab one for my ipad pro 11

  • +1

Thanks OP (or maybe no thanks due to random splurge!!!).

I already have a Smart Folio, Magic Keyboard, Logitech Folio and just bought this due to FOMO…Arrrrgh. I for some reason love using the iPad Pro M1 (currently doing Post Grad) and can find use cases for all of the cases. It is an expensive hobby.

Also, I know people scoff at Magic Keyboard, but it has seriously changed the way I use my iPad (like a Mac Air). Smart folio is great to travel with (say to the office in a sleeve). Used Logitech Folio as the ‘Rugged’ case as it can store the Apple Pencil & is thick as a tank. Combo will perhaps allow me to enjoy using it as a tablet with protection while giving me the flexibility to type when I want. Also, too good of a price to pass up.

  • Will this fir the model 1 gen before M1 iPad Pro?

    • Yes, it should.

    • Yes I does. This is the model I have.

  • +1

    Thanks bought!

  • +1

Just got one. Thank you. 😁

  • Received it this morning, came really fast from Aus Post. Keyboard is ok, the smaller size makes it getting used to.

Mine didn’t come with a seal or anything but everything inside was unused.

Kickstand is really nice, better than expected.

  • Received mine today and here are my thoughts.

I am not totally blown away with it tbh. If you are not a touch typist, sand colour with white marking in lit condition makes it hard to differentiate at a glance. Grey colour would be better.

    Typing:
If you are comparing between Magic Keyboard and this, this feels like a poor mans version. I have both and trust me, I am value seeker. There is just this much difference between the experience if you are planning on typing a lot. It’s like using standard Logitech Keyboard vs MX keys. Also, trackpad stops working randomly & have to remove and re-attach the keyboard. I am running the latest Logitech App too.

    Reachability:
Also, MK props the iPad so much closer and it has rigid base. This means it is a lot more balanced on lap and much more closer. The difference is like using 14inch laptop screen vs a 12 inch. Lastly, on MK, you don’t have lift up the palms to use touch gestures on the lower part of the screen as the screen is much closer. So touch typing can be done while using most touch gestures. Not on Combo touch as the screen way too far away.

    Trackpad:
The Combo touch has a huge trackpad compared to MK and my Folio touch and while it had disconnected causing annoyance, when working, this has been far better than any other.

When looking at this from $156 delivered vs $449 MK, there is a big difference. And it is no brainer if you are looking for a ‘case’ as well that allows for tablet use.

Recommendation: If seeking a case or a tablet accessory with a Keyboard, this is an easy recommendation. If you are looking to use iPad as main laptop and you are okay with ‘naked’ tablet say at home, try to find a ‘New’ MK online from Marketplace or EBay with a receipt and remaining warranty at around $300ish. I got mine ‘Sealed’ with receipt and delivered in white for $320 on EBay. At full price MK is not worth it.

  • Does anyone else have a slight bubble on the rear middle of the case where the stand folds? It’s like the fabric is pushed up a tiny bit in the middle when the stand is opened. Wondering if I should try and swap it over or it’s just a reality of the kind of material and the fold of the stand when opened.

    • Yes, I do. It appears that the hinge is there. Mine has creases in the fabric.

      • Thanks. I guess it’s good that it’s not just me. Also not great that it sounds like that’s a bit of a fault in the design. Not ideal but not the end of the world.

    • +1

Yep, mine is the same. There is actually a post about this on reddit in the iPad subreddit.

      • Thanks. Sounds like it’s to be expected then.

  • +1

Thank you OP - got it and it is GREAT!

  • Anybody who bought the 12.9" one and not happy with it? Keen to buy 2nd hand to give it a go!
