Finally got a order confirmation from WM strange though nothing from Paypal
same thing as me as per my post above. Got through on one of my many attempts, but I don't believe on that attempt it actually went to the paypal age, but I spent so long on it, I can't be sure. I just figured if it don't eventual get delivered, I put in an order enquiry.

I was one of the lucky few who received the email from Paypal. But since the details were leaked on this site it looks like i'm not going to be getting it. The deal wasn't meant for everybody with a Paypal account.

finally got an order from paypal and wine market on my second order that "went through":

Now i'll just need to get my first order refunded since winemarket has got NFI since they don't have an order number for that but it's come out of paypal. I didn't recieve an email from WineMarket on that one. Shouldn't be an issue I don't think..
To Summarise: you need to get both an email from paypal and an email from winemarket. Then it's gone through. (The winemarket email came about 2 minutes after paypals)

So yes, the offer was only meant for PayPal's "most valued customers".
They should have known people would pass around (and post) the voucher code. They really should have generated unique codes for each customer if they wanted to avoid this problem.

Staggering that businesses create offers like this with no clue that their systems can't possibly handle it…and that will in turn p*ss people off.
It took 15 minutes to come back with 'incomplete address' since I left my phone no off (pretty sure it wasn't ticked as a required field first time around)

And apart from that we have no idea if the ever reached their 2500. Paypal has a lot of customers who dont read ozbargain (Also this site has had 3000+ click thru's on Ozbargian alone)
