  • Why's it called "Petrol Blue" - petrol is clear…

This one is only 4.5cm thick

I’d buy this one below which is 10cm thick for an extra $3

    • If only we had these on school camps back in the day. We had to use sleeping bags on the ground. Even 4.5cm of cushioning would have been amazing.

    • Good find. I think I'll be joining the Air Bed Pad Navy.

I think this is the exact same one (in grey) for $46 on Amazon:

      • nah, they are different. you can tell from the position of valves.

    • It depends what you are using it for. At 1.7kg, the decathlon is already on the heavy side if you are taking it with you on an overnight hike, but could do for short trips. The one you linked is 4.1kg and looks like it is massive when rolled up, definitely not suitable for hiking. Another thing to consider is the R-value, which is 5.2 (quite good) for the Decathlon mat. The one you linked doesn't even list it, so there is no way to know how insulating it is from the ground.

  • That is one of the worst dual valve designs I've ever seen.
