+3 votesLots of good but also lots of bad reviews on Amazon. Sounds like there's a design flaw with it:

+1 votei wouldn't trust an automatic cutting device that does not detect my pain to be able to do a safe job downstairs.
fwiw, it could double up as a waterproof hair (for the head) clipper in the shower, and not to worry about clogging the drain if you are maintaining a very short length of hair.

+1 votethats because you don't have chest hair like this. http://cinema1544.files.wordpress.com/2011/10/5_powers_chest...

+1 voteI bought the Philips Norelco BG2040 (a model or two up from this) off Amazon for ~$65 a few months ago and it has worked a dream as a trimmer. I have not been game to test out it's shaving function. This is coming from a guy who's hair is so coarse it fights back.

Lucky mothers.
+1 voteThat resized image looks flat-out wrong from a distance.
And secondly, who actually shaves down there? Trim, yes. Shave completely? As someone who does work-out a lot I can strongly advise against shaving all the hair off down there (particularly in summer), it does serve a vital purpose.
Unless you're going into a studio tomorrow to have a camera zoomed in on your genitalia for 30 minutes; no, just no.
Bloody feminization I tells ya. 25 years ago a girl would have turned you down if you looked like a Boy Scout down there.
silentkiller87 on 13/05/2012 - 12:23 ¶yea more like congratulatons, your tiger can no longer stand.
+3 votesFrom a long time user:
This is a very cheap model. They are trying to get rid of them because Philips has recently released a version 2, which is made out of a metal housing and has a stronger motor. Also one end now has a clipper which you use to first trim down your hair in bulk and then you can swap to the other side. I bought this a couple of weeks ago for roughly $100 at the shaver shop. I recommend dishing out the money for this. The original one is a very cheap plastic device, the foil of the head has come off for me and was very tricky to put back on, although I do think they share the same heads for replacement it seems the latest ones are higher quality. The button also stopped working eventually on the plastic one.
+3 votesThese device is terrible, like really terrible! Not a good deal at all. I remember purchasing one of these for about $40 from The Good Guys, so the price ain't even that great and the device is worse! All the lightest body hair will render this device useless or painful!
[EDIT] Actually based on the price and quality of product, I'm negging this.

+1 voteOld el paso on 13/05/2012 - 19:01 ¶These work well for a little bit and then it all goes downhill. The head falls off the shaver under the slightest pressure. I bought a remington one where the head pivots for the same price as this one, it is much better.
citybargainhunter on 13/05/2012 - 20:03 ¶just use a normal hair clipper, does the same job, a friend told me.
