    I've got the Vax Zen. and its pretty good. quiet and picks up a lot more dirt and hair than the hoover we had. the hoover was about 5 years old. overall i would definitely buy it again if i needed a new vacuum.

    also 3 years warranty too. didnt get the steam mop. so cant comment on that.

    EDIT: forgot to mention. dont listen to the salesman. just go in give me the money and walk out. the missus and myself got stuck listening to the sales guy spill 10mins of useless crap saying 'the vax zen is ok. but for an extra $800 down from $1500 you can get this trick head vacuum that vibrates' im sure its great and all but cant justify $800 for a vacuum. go in and get the zen :)

  I know nothing about this deal, but I have a strict personal 'NEVER again from godfreys' policy after my experience with them.

    yeah some sale person can be crap. from Ozbargain discussion board, they mentioned you need to know what to buy before walk in, they try to persuade u with other craps……..

    some are good though. In WA i try to check stock and informations from 5 stores during christmas time, 4 of them are crap……… only one is good…….

    they try to tell me before like higher wattage is better, this Zen Vax is too low etc etc …… which is not true.

    then i call another store for advise, this one said wattage means nothing about suction, but $$

    so this ZEN VAX SUCKS! where other higher wattage Vacuum does not suck after one room.

  many has said from their experience that the Zen Vax is better than old dyson in many ways.
  and the multi cyclonic efficiency was good where Dyson try to sue them for copyright.

  I believed this deal is better, as it is free shipping……

  One thing I know for sure- that the free included steam mop is CRAP. We were shopping for one a few weeks ago, and stumbled upon this one- you literally have to PUMP the wand/stick up and down vigorously to activate the steam function. That is how it operates. Absolutely ridiculous design. Though you would get quite the workout whilst mopping the floors! Pumping up and down whilst moving mop back and forth? Who thought that one up?

  I bought a new Vax Zen Reach last year (not from Godfreys), and it is, as advertised, quiet compared to most vacuums, and does very well as cleaning up the dirt. While very similar to the Vax Zen it differs in that it also comes with a large and small turbo head which makes it easier to pick up pet hair, which it does quite effectively. It is considerably easier to clean the car seats and carpets of pet hair than any other vacuum I have owned. If you see a good deal on the Zen Reach, and you have a cat or dog, I would go for it.
