Alcatel 918D - Dual Sim Android 2.3 Phone $135 Via OO

40

Two possible places where you can purchase from.

$135 delivered from OO.com.au (shipping capped for all items storewide)

[Mod: removed eBay listing as seller has no ABN listed]

Certainly not as cheap as the first one that debuted from COTD's sale a few months back. But it's possibly the cheapest on the market right now.

The specifications are pretty bog standard:

3.2 inch capacitive HVGA screen
650mhz CPU
256MB RAM
1300mAh battery
3.2 mpx camera

Bluetooth V3.0
14.4 mbps HSDPA
Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot and tether, Unlocked

Somewhat limited internal NAND storage (root is possible)

and of course, Active dual sim capability — both Sims are active simultaneously.

Only one SIM is 3G enabled.

    Ebay seller provides no warranty.

We sell on behalf of Australia’s leading loss adjusters and Insurance companies. We mainly sell Brand new Items that have received Carton Damage in one way or another.

    1. We cannot transfer any warranty on these items so everything is sold without warranty. All items are for Australian use, and electrical items are zoned for Australia.
    • Thanks. Updated. Notified mod to change URL.

  • The LG Spirit from Coles is a lot better for less.

But no dual sim. Though I suppose you could buy two LG Spirits and carry both, for the same price.

+1 for this idea. Then you could play draw something with yourself!

  • Didnt catch of the day have the same one for $99?

Wow Alcatel has really gone in to the smart phone market with this phone and others. I remember having an Alcatel phone a long time ago that ran on AAA batteries, around the time as the Ericson brick phone.

    • The Alcatel one touch Max! My 1st phone. It was awesome!

  • Good deal for a dual active sim phone. Damn… if only I had not bought that pos LG E900.

  • Decent deal, but for those interested this phone does come up fairly regularly on COTD, in their catchathons/tech days, etc, for $99 (+ shipping?).

  • Specs for anyone interested:

From whirlpool, apparently no 850MHz nextg

  • Specs are anaemic but I guess these dual sims don't go cheaper than that. Certainly better than the one I found :P

Ozbargain thinks I am "sockpuppeting" aka colluding with you Scrimshaw and I had to confirm my vote, subject to further "investigation" haha. Must be all those crappy price angels 'deals' I posted that you responded to.
