Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000 - Centre Com $34 ($94 before Cashback)

200

Centre Com have the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000 for $94, which becomes $34 after the $60 cashback.
Currently they have stock at Sunshine & Clayton, but may have stock in other stores.

I bought this yesterday, but since Officeworks is closer, I got them to pricematch, so payed $89.30 ($29.31 after cashback). Not bad for a $200rrp keyboard & mouse.

Even with shipping, it still beats Officeworks at $119, so might be good for pricematching elsewhere. Shipping is $20 to Sydney, $15.4 to Regional VIC & $8.25 to Melbourne metro & Geelong. Though apparently $50 to Perth, crazy :(

Update: Scan of receipt uploaded (blanked personal stuff out).
Also, the checkout woman mentioned that it was $34 (due to Centre Com's misleading advertising of post cashback price). I had to correct her to the $94, might loose some OzBargain cred though.

Thanks, I might get one today. Could you possibly post up the Officeworks receipt?

I have this keyboard, love it.

how is this set for (casual) gaming? obviously probably not good enough for hardcore gaming, but is it good enough for the less discerning gamer (no ghosting/lag issues)?

wouldn't recommend it for gaming.. for typing the keyboard is okay.. kinda of mushy…
but the mouse is utter crap IMHO.. the rubber on thumb rest gets sticky only after a short while and the way its designed doesn't travel well for fast movements, even though i use a good mouse pad…. I had some connectivity issues as well..
i would look at logitech sets for general use/gaming

I've used mine for both work and gaming and never had any issues with it, I find it pretty comfortable for both.

I only have the keyboard, and agree with getting a decent Logitech mouse for gaming

I have the keyboard and mouse and have had no problems with it, the mouse is sturdy too, still going a year and a half later and after my mrs recently threw it at me and missed, hitting the wall!

I know it's hard to believe but there are actually a couple of people on Ozbargain living on the East coast.

How do you price match with OW?
I have not done it before.

    I am in Sydney

  •

Hopefully the OP can put up the Officeworks receipt then it won't be so useless!

With postage to Canberra, it ends up being $6 cheaper than Officeworks' list price.

  •

    30% cash back.
    How to get $60 back?

  •

Great deal. I paid much more than this for my set, which is also great.

Battery for some reason lasts for ages on this pair!

    •

As long as it doesn't have the same battery charging problem like my older MS keyboard/mouse set then it's all good.

    Receipt please!

  •

OP who did you pricematch OW with to get it for $89.30 ???

    •

I matched it to this deal, from Centre Com

  •

Got Parramatta (NSW) store to price match and got it for 108.10.

    •

I got it price matched to $103.55, I got too honest about it LOL.

Price matching it to $89.30 was a possibility but that would've been achievable only if I'm in Melbourne.

  •

having looking for the best price for this one, just the right time here! thanks op!

wow… shipping is $20 to canberra?!

  •

Thanks OP! Just picked one up for myself at OW in Chirnside Park. The sales guy was almost going to price match the $34.00 advertised on the centrecom website…until the manager stepped in (doh). Anyway, great deal with the price match minus 5% at OW!
