I think this might be a one-off unique voucher?

    • +18

      can confirm its generic
got the same code in my email

      • oh ok thanks for confirming! 😁

      • The code I received is very similar but not the same so maybe not. The QREW part is obviously quarterly reward but there's difference in the rest. Good timing as I'm heading their this afternoon.

      • +3

Here is my email screenshot if anyone needs a proof

        https://ibb.co/yswS8sz

Note that you can scan the QR code in store but might be required to show the email to staff

      • I got the same (generic) code as well.

  • Thanks OP will try it next shop hope it works.

  • +7

Can stack with the free click & collect if you have received the code
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/711704

    • Keen to know as well.

    • Edit nvm

    • Charged $5 with click & collect on my computer but free on mobile app.
Not sure if that works for everybody.

  • Thanks.

  • +2

Can this be used on food?

    • yeah

    • +2

The food is the only reason I actually go to ikea.

  • Last time I tried it was linked to my account so could not redeem.

  • its usually linked to your ikea family membership, be good to know if it works for everyone

    • +1

same code for everyone, code should work regardless of if you spent $100+ in the prior quarter

      • How about use it in store by scanning the qr code?? Thanks.

  • +2

Can this be used multiple times or is it just one off?

    • +1

      I tried and it worked.

      • Did you purchase online or in store?

Im building a tv cabinet and this could be very useful ha

        • +1

online but did the click and collect through the app

    • +1

      Yes

  • I just spent over $200 yesterday and got nothing in my email. pff!

    • You receive it the following quarter.

EDIT: Need to be an ikea family member as well I believe as it's a perk under that program.

      • +1

You can still claim it if you're not eligible. Just scan the Ikea family code and the coupon and it should work

  • +7

OP, you have a typo in the plaintext voucher code (and post description) in your post, it’s QREWw8B%qs, not QREWw8Bf%qs.

    • my having the same as yours.

    • +2

      thanks, have updated post

  • +1

Bugger. We usually don't shop much at Ikea. But, last night we did.

  • Time to stock up on some batteries

  • +1

Good timing to buy one or two of this.
    https://www.ikea.com/au/en/news/symfonisk-wifi-speakers-pubc…

Sounds are not quite Sonos one, but still decent airplay speaker with nice look.

    • Its a shame the knob on that speaker lamp isnt at the back where the cord comes out from, so it looks more like a lamp and blends better into the room. You dont see any lamps with knobs on the front of them (or at least I havent) so this is a first for me.

    • +1

I just read the AI review of the Symfonisk and encouraged to hear:

"These aren't cheap knock-off Sonos speakers. They have true Sonos sound and match well with the rest of the Sonos range."

"These speakers sounded nearly as good as our Sonos Play One set, but are just a hair weaker. They are crisp, articulate, and full sounding without being distorted at high volumes."

Very tempted to buy a pair ahead of any other actual Sonos purchases, esp. since they're currently $139 instead of $199…

      • My nearest ikea (Tempe) was clearing them out for $89 recently. They must be bringing a Gen 2 model in soon

        • Hmmm… I was wondering about that. That review was from 3 years ago, so I guess that's possible — wonder how often Sonos generally update their lines?

        • Confirmed.

Gen 2 is out at $199.

The originals are still at $139.

  • +1

    Stacks with birthday voucher?

    • -1

      Yes.

    • No option to enter a second discount code on the app

    • No

  • I spent just over $100 on the 30th June, did I miss out? Code not received and not working online :(

  • +6

they jacked up the prices for a lot of their stuff. Detolfs used to be $99. Now they're $139! That's a 40% increase. I know there's inflation but that increase is steep

    • +2

Jack did too much for Ikea

    • +1

I'm in Sydney, $129 for me.

Also many things much cheaper in the US - perhaps due to scale and supply chain.

  • And I thought I was special

  • +3

Ah, I miss those days when there was no spending limit…

  • Works for new customer. Thanks

  • so its not special at all :(

  • Seems delivery is $29 flat rate nice. Not so good for small items but certainly good for some bulky furniture.

    • Not sure where you're seeing that but unless it's changed in the last few weeks delivery isn't flat, it's a sliding scale based upon weight. I paid $89 delivery on some furniture in May.

      • I saw it at checkout. Not everything is available for delivery - like more heavy bulky items. I live in an IKEAless state.

  • Just used this at their Adelaide store - self-serve checkout requires the checkout attendant to authorise the discount (it'll come up with a "please wait for assistance" message)… luckily the person who authorised it didn't bat an eye lid… but I recall the last time they had a "scan the code for additional discount" thing going, they asked to see the actual email and wouldn't just accept a screenshot of the code (although I think that wasn't a "family" discount but something else).

Overheard another customer on the self-serve checkout opposite me also talking about this code while I was there too :P

  • You need to scan membership separately I'm guessing?

    • +1

I scanned my items, tapped Next, tapped yes on the "have you scanned everything" screen, then when it prompted about being a family member, entered my mobile number and found my membership that way. Then when it asked for payment, clicked the back arrow in the top left corner which took me back to the item scanning screen, then scanned the QR code to apply the discount. I don't have a membership card / code or anything - I always just enter my mobile number and find it that way.

      • Yes phone number is the best way to bring up your membership makes it very simple.

  • -1

Yep, I looked and found this offer in my inbox too: QREWw8B%qs

  • Will this stack with a birthday voucher?

    • Yes.

      • How? there is no option to add another code in

        • Worked for me in-store. The checkout assistant helped me add it, but I don't remember what they did. Not sure if you can pull it off if you are ordering online.

  • Can you only use one discount code on the app?

  • -4

Thanks, I made 7 different orders and saved $70

  • +1

Get 2 of the 201 lego bricks set for $40 instead of $70 ?

  • -1

Does anyone know how long it takes for the IKEA gift cards to be activated? It mentions 48 hours on the website but would want to use them today.

  • Nuts, just bought some stuff from Ikea and totally forgot to use this code.

  • Can I do multiple checkouts of click and collect over $50 on the same account and get $10 every time?

Of l or does it register that you've already used it?

    • Can confirm you can use it multiple times. Used it twice today at Ikea Richmond self check out and no problem

      • Did the machine ask for staff assistance?

        • +1

Yes it does but they just ask you to scam your membership number thats all
