      It has seperate chambers so if one goes down it will still stay afloat.

      yes, fine for fishing .. the key benefit is transport and storage size and weight .. if you can handle the extra cost, length and weight for a standard fishing kayak .. $1000 and 40kg and not collapsible, then better to go with the standard fishing kayak
