did I just see that it's gone down to $300 BEFORE the cashback?
It is, if you use this link, not the OP's
    https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07V1T9XZK

Third party seller, just launched. Avoid

    • +3

That's a 3rd party seller though, ECOM EMPIRE. Don't think it qualifies for the $100 cashback.

    • I don't get it - the link I posted only goes to the official Amazon AU selling link

  • thanks OP got one this time

  • Mega deal. If you're on the fence, get one
    .

  • You're doing gods work OP! - purchased

  • Yep, good deal a little cheaper than when I got mine a few weeks ago. I love this thing.

  • +1

Thank you! Airfryer is life and I've been wanting an XXL for ages. What a price :)

Do digital ones have more issues than the analog ones? Skeptics about their durability and long lasting if the digital breaks down

  • Thanks OP. Been seeing so many tiktok air fryer recipes these days. Got one!

  • Thanks OP, good find!

  • Might be time to upgrade from my compact size to XXL

  • Am I the only one having problems with creating an account on the phillips page?

    • Yep, I just created an account no issues

  • Anyone got luck with Good Guys to price match with Amazon. Looking to use the AGL $200 store credit

seems like they forgot the review part

      • they did the inner basket dimension, at least i know what baking tray can fit.. that's the best part!

  • Thanks Op, purchased as had been keeping an eye out.

  • We love ours (including that you can throw the whole basket in the dishwasher, unlike say InstantPot's), though I wish the temperature presets for different food types were more varied. Several of them are the same, when I would have loved a "warm up" option at say 140 degrees.

There's also more to wash with this one - we just don't bother using the "fat remover" insert, as pretty much everything we've cooked has been in the mesh basket.

    Still, quite happy with it.

    • if it makes you feel better, in the older models, the mesh is not removable from the basket carrier…

  • Anyone got their cashback yet for the previous purchase?

    • not even an email saying cashback is registered

      • I got an email saying it’s been approved on 29th July saying will get an email when payment processed. Nothing as yet.

The customer service team on the phone are great though. I initially had issues making the claim and they helped out.

Give them a call if any concerns.

      • Same I didn’t get any email after either

  • +1

Ugh went back up to $402

    • +1

was just about to check out as well :(

  • +1

    Gone back up

  • Damnit just generated my one use card and went back to Amazon and it’s showing $402.35

    • buy discounted gift card and loaded them to your account. You won't miss next time

  • +2

I believed I just got the last unit @ $352.45. Thanks OP!! I was late cos I just bought the XL a month ago and not sure whether I should get the XXL as back up

  • +1

Grabbed one. Great price, thanks. Hopefully the cashback works eventually..

  • price now 402.35

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Showing $402.35 for me, price increase?

  • A question please…. Is there anyone who has one of these and has also had a cheaper one eg Bellini (Target) or Anko (Kmart)?

I just want to know what I am paying the extra few hundred dollars for before I get one of these.

    • +1

I currently have the Anko 5.3L and have compared it side by side with my friends Philips and what I noticed are:

      • On the same temperature setting, the Philips cook faster, and the result looks crisper/darker.
Maybe because the Anko is analog dial so less accurate, maybe the Philips have better temperature control

      • The Philips basket is on a rail and a lot smoother to take in and out. The Anko is on a slot (part of the body/plastic) and because you have to lift it by the handle, if (when) the handle get bent a bit, then you have to angle it a bit before you can insert the basket and you have to sort of slam it close.

      • Anko timer can only do a minimum of 5 (or maybe 3) minutes.

    • +1

Phillips has more power than pretty much every other machine on the market so cooks quicker.

XXL is pretty small compared to other brands, so if you have a big family it is annoying.

  • +1

Anyone else a little disappointed with the size of this airfryer? I expected the basket to be far larger given the XXL but it was only a little bit larger than my old aldi airfryer.

    • Yes - has been called XXL for years without a size update and is now up to 15L smaller than some other brands but double their price. It is too small for our family. Shame as I would have got another XXL if it was bigger.

      • What air fryer would you choose?

  • +1

I know this has expired, but is the inside of this non-stick? Looking for a stainless steal option, any recommendation?

    • Upvoted. I would like to know this too and have a stainless steel basket.

    • +1

Looks like you can buy replacement trays on amazon including stainless ones.

  • how do people wash this? lots of components, it says dish washer safe but worried about the rust eroding

    • Pan inside air fryer and just wash that

  • I have this one
    https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/soho-familychef-7-5l-air-…
and it's great. It is big though. but only $169

  • So did anyone actually verify if this will be eligible for the $100 philips cashback? The Ts and Cs don't really mention participating retailers.

  • +2

Deal is back at even lower price of $351.76 ($251.76 after cashback)

Click through OP's link to get the correct item.
Beware there's another seller selling it for $329 however there's no indication that it is eligible for $100 cashback

    • Thanks, marked as back in stock.

  • I don't think the deal is back on.
Price is showing as $399.20 with OP's link

    • Weird price keep changing, it shows $402.35 now
      Probably follow btc price

  • Damn missed out..if it drops again before I see it someone please comment!

    • $356.20 Delivered @ KG Electronic eBay using "SAVFAV20" if you're interested.

The seller is eligible for $100 cashback from Philips also.

      • tempted but can't see them on the listed retailers

      • don think they're eligible. The list of sellers should be the one under 'where to buy' and list is pretty small

        • The where to buy listing doesn't correlate to the eligible sellers for the claim. KG has been an eligible seller for all promos in the past, see here and here and here.

Pretty much all of the companies who seller Philips Airfryers brand new are eligible for the cashback from what I understand.

          • @doweyy: Thanks for summarising mate!

          • @doweyy: Thanks for the details on past deals! The T&C are so vague that its really unclear what 'participating retail stores' refer to. Great to hear KG has worked with previous CB. You saved me $40 as i was going to buy from Amazon =D

  • Hopefully even better price with afterpay day

  • It's back, $347.47 before cashback
Make sure to select Amazon AU as seller

  • Has anyone who bought the airfryer from Amazon received the validation confo from Philips?

    • I have received by cashback a few days ago

      • did you get any confirmation emails?

        • I received $100 cashback the 2nd day after my post. Didn't get any confo email apart from one email confirming my registration was successful.

        • yes, I got a few emails - product registration, claimed promotion, claim approved, and claim paid.

          • @st33p: Just got a confirmation email today

  • Anyone paid by Zip during claiming received an email from Phillips asking to upload "fully paid purchase receipt"? I notice Amazon only gives a tax invoice with "grant total amount" but not showing payment made.
