Do you think this would be enough power for an rtx 4080 and Intel 13700k? I'm planning a build like that later, and I'm keeping an eye out on parts that I could start buying sooner, gradually.
This question would sounded like sarcasm just 2-3 years back lol
At this point, anyone wants to upgrade to the new gen CPU or GPU’s are going to be looking at basically a brand new system.
I’d wait for PSUs with better transient response and even better the option for a 16 pin power connector given these are likely to become more common on higher end GPUs.
Same. Was wondering the same thing. It seems to be ok.🤷♂️ I tried checking If it had any known issues but couldnt find any…
I don't trust msi. Dodgy company.
How come?
HODL. Next gen PSUs for the 4000 series are coming and their going to be the same price. You get more bang for buck.
Wouldnt bother with this old gen 1000W PSU if you're aiming to build a new rig with Ryzen 7000/ Intel 13th gen or RDNA3/ 4000 series GPU. In less then a months time well have new CPUs, PSUs, all that good jazz.
when the heck are the 1200w+ psu on sale?
I prefer Gigabyte more "Bang" for the buck…
