        well i'm pretty sure i was one of the first to put an order through. Still got cancelled. Worst thing was the hut didn't even bother sending a courtesy email saying my order was cancelled; i had to log in and find out myself. It's like walking through the door to find your wife in bed with another man. Shocking service indeed.

          I've had this issue with them before, they'll just cancel an item that they run out of stock for and not even send an email notification. Not good enough at all.

          I ordered a PS3 game mid April.
          It still hasn't been sent and it still reads as 'available' on the website.
          I periodically send them nasty emails and they reply with 'we are sorry, blah blah blah, trying to get supplier, blah blah blah.
          Absolutely abysmal.
          Why claim it is available when it clearly isn't?
          Don't think I'll ever shop there again.

          Same with me. They cancelled my order after 2 months of waiting saying no stock. Where as it was still available on their web site.
          I had to follow up every time. They did not even send me an email for cancellation of order.

      I bought the Ringspun Men's Domino Quilted Jacket. Realized today that it doesn't come with a zipper - oh well still cheap for the price at $34 delivered. Some of their reviews mention them good for the summer. How cold does their summer get?

          If our orders are cancelled then there is something wrong with their inventory system. Mine is scheduled to go out on Monday - so not a long weekend for them. I ordered the next size as recommended by some reviews. If it doesn't fit I'll pass it on to someone - not worth it to send it back.

    Read this in the order confirmation email.

    "To make sure you get your items as soon as possible, we post and charge separately for each item. Please note, for Credit Card and PayPal orders, that payment is not taken until point of dispatch."

    I just bought 3 t-shirts & 3 jackets. Does this mean they would post items separately and charge separate postage for it? I can understand following that process if a particular item is out of stock but wouldn't make sense otherwise.

    Also just found out they have a free shipping code for International orders over £50 - "INTD".

      They split my order into 2 and charged me 0.99 shipping on each order even with that code.

      It actually timed out when I was going through checkout. The timeout is not long. I did not AFK or anything. It just took a while typing things out.

          tokyo superdry are from an industrial estate in the mid-west of England.

          they took their name from when the 3 owners went to Japan about 10 years ago to get ideas for a clothing range. they collected a whole lot of advertising material from there. combined that with a USA 1950's style and -voila- Tokyo Superdry was born.

      you should be thinking brand-wise when determining sizing, not location. For example, for most US/UK brands (eg. ralph lauren/burberry), their sizings are what most people are accustomed to. European brands (eg. diesel/versace) on the other hand tend to run a little small.

    Awesome just got two orders done and one got cancelled and one is now delayed. (2 different sets of clothing one for jackets (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/72008#comment-905606) and tshirts (alexander vneck shirts)(http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/71828) Note these were 2 completely different sets of items. Perhaps unlucky or they need to implement a better working system.

      I had two items, one has been dispatched and the other due to be sent out today 11/06/12. I don't think they keep items in a warehouse, but rely on other suppliers to send stock as they are ordered.

      Ordered mine on the 8th (Friday) was dispatched on the 11th (Monday). Received it on the 20th (Wednesday). My experience, good service, good quality at a very good price. Very satisfied especially considering the fact that I paid about $44 in total for my jacket+shipping but if I were to return it via Australia Post it would cost me $47.50.

    I got one of my items delivered today: "Brave Soul Men's Inferno Cardigan - Black - L L Black [Clothing]" and it comes with a FREE hole in the front of it, big enough to stick your thumb through it. Crappy quality control. Will cost me more than the price of the item to send it back.
